These pencils are a little thicker than regular ones. This set came with a pencil sharpener and eraser. They write really well and I haven’t had the lead break, and they’ve been dropped and banged a lot.

I love these pencils - they don't roll away from me! I have some arthritis in my hands and this medium size is easy to grasp. The pencil sharpener is crucial because normal sharpeners will not accommodate these pencils. The lead is soft so they write easily but not so soft as to continually wear down.

My pre-schooler who gave so much trouble about writing has done a complete turn around. She is left handed and just seemed to have difficulty with the traditional pencils, not with these though. Great find.
