Very reasonable
We grabbed this as a cheap replacement for our damaged Schutt one to get us through the fall ball season. It is great, very lightweight for our 9 year old, and she says it's comfortable. The sizing on these is a bit confusing because it doesn't really specify "youth" however, the medium fits her well. We will go back to a metal or titanium style for spring ball because she will be playing 12u/10u then and with harder hitters, I have concerns of the plastic mask shattering and cutting her if she is hit with a line drive. Just a personal preference, though! She's an aggressive shortstop who isn't afraid of the ball at all.

Smart Buy
buying the defensive face mask was a real gamble in my mind, thinking i'd spend the money yet the daughter might complain of impaired vision, too hot, looks goofy, a hundred other possible complaints. but after a month, WOW, the daughter totally loves it! 8 & 9 yr old girls traveling competitive softball team. the other coach recommended it, then my daughter got one, now all of our infielders have one. no question about it, my daughter's response and reaction after a month is: improved confidence, it totally removes that last little bit of fear and thus hesitation of going ahead and aggressively fielding that hard grounder, which is a great thing! she complains of no vision problems or physical discomfort. the only two problems i see coming are sun blindness, you can't wear a cap or visor with this on, and when it gets really hot later this summer, there may be a "feeling hot" issue. the mask itself if very ventilated, but the pads will probably get a little hot once it's 100 or worse on the field. but my daughter's fondness of it will likely outweigh that discomfort that i think might come later when it gets hot. not to say that any discomfort will come, just a guess. for the peace of mind that i get knowing she's not going to eat a hard line drive or a bad hop grounder, is worth the price of a hundred masks, plus maybe not recover mentally and thus affecting her play. our experience, and asking the other girls too, this defensive face mask has been a win-win for our girls! haven't heard one single complaint from any of our girls that have one. (our infielders and pitcher) buy one.....i seriously doubt you'll regret it!

Solid lightweight and pink!
I got this for my 6 year old , she loves the pink ! The clear is exactly that clear! No flimsy at all , and it makes her super easy to see anything coming at her ! It is very lightweight and has excellent impact protection cushioning ! It is easy for her to put on herself , even when she is wearing a ponytail . It fits her face perfectly with a bit of shortening of the straps , I love that it is very adjustable so this should last her a few seasons. When she finally does grow out of it , I will buy a bigger version for sure! We tried other brands but no one were as good , this was a great find!

This masks gets a lot of use and my girls only co.plain that the foam cushions come off, but they use them a lot.

Great!
Very nice! My daughter loves the design and it fits her well. She is 9 but about the size of an average 14 year old so I was worried it wouldn't fit like many of the other youth masks but this is great. I would highly recommend it!

Now although everything about this was great from quality & color. I got it for my 8yr old daughter and she is tiny so it is a little hard for her to see out of it but she said its comfy and not heavy at all.. She will get used to it and loves it. DEFINITLY recommend this!

Remove from heat
Product started off great. I had to reattach the forehead foam this weekend. I believe the heat in New Orleans cause the old glue to release. Now that I have fixed the top area it is good again.

It'll work
The color is nothing like the picture, I ordered smoke and got clear and navy blue 🤷‍♀️ That being said, it fits my daughter comfortably, is lightweight, and seems pretty sturdy. We'll see how it holds up to regular wear this season!
