Perch Base 1 piece adhesive Velcro 2 Legs 4 Thumb screws (located on board) 4 Washers (located on board) Bonus: Extra fleece cover-great for in between washings Easy Set-Up Step 1: Attach Legs Remove all contents from the box. Turn the Window Perch over to expose the wood side and place it on a flat surface so the cover is facing down. Position leg over each set of holes and insert the washer and then thumbscrews. Tighten each thumbscrew so the legs are held in place, but can still be adjusted forward and backward. Step 3: Apply Fastening Tape Carefully remove the release paper from the fastening tape and firmly place the fastening tape on the window sill with the adhesive side down. The fastening tape should be placed at least ½ inch from the edge of the window sill. Allow at least one hour for the adhesive to set. Step 5: Adjust Leg Support Slide the legs forward or backward as needed so the rubber wall protectors are firmly in contact with the wall and are supporting the Window Perch in a horizontal position. Tighten the thumb screws firmly. Step 2: Clean Window Sill Check to make sure the window sill is clean and completely dry. This step is very important to ensure proper bonding of fastening tape to the window sill. The fastening tape is intended to be placed on the window sill and it should be removed from the Window Perch at this time. Step 4: Place Perch on Sill Place the Window Perch on the window sill, matching up the fastening tape strip to the strip permanently attached to the front of the Window Perch. Step 6: Wait 8 Hours Before Use It is recommended that you allow 8 hours before applying weight to the Window Perch. Please test to make sure the Window Perch is solidly mounted before allowing your pet to use it.

Lazy Pet Multi-Cat Window Perch Does Not Lay Flat On Windowsill
I ordered this item, because it was suppose to hold up to 65 pounds, and, it was 27 inches long. However, when I got the item, it was not, as indicated in the description, or pictures that were shown, for this item. As it turns out, this cat perch, is in two pieces, that are held together by two hinges. The problem, is that the hinges, make the perch unsteady, causing it not to lay flat on the windowsill. The perch is wobbly, and, the velco, does not stick to windowsill, because of the hinges. If this information was included in the description and, the correct pictures shown, for this product, I would not have purchased it. I am sharing this, so that other customers, will know, that this particular cat perch, is in two pieces, and, does not lay flat on a windowsill, because of the hinges.

Fell down within 2 months :(
Let me start off by saying I have been buying the Lazy Pet Single Window Perch for YEARS with no problems- and obviously satisfied as I kept getting new ones for new homes and/or new kitty. So when I was moving to my new place I realized my bedroom window was a different type than I've usually had & perfect for doing multiple kitty perches (imagine a long line a fuzzy beds). I decided to try this 'double/multi' cat perch as it was bigger & could hold more weight (supposedly). When I received these I noticed the hinge & different legs right away -which I'm not saying is a bad thing just that it's completely different than single perch), I installed with minimal fuss and thought we were good to go. Something I noticed fairly quickly was that whenever my kitties got on/off there was a noticeable creak when they walked near the hinge area - but I attributed it to it settling in as I've heard somewhat similar noises on single perch as well. After about 6 weeks I was in my kitchen when I heard this tremendous crash & rushed to my bedroom where I found one perch completely on the floor and inverted - thankfully my cat had enough warning to twist herself out of harms way. The tape was still on window sill & perch and the legs were missing the rubber stoppers but other than that there was no damage & I could not figure out what caused it to crash. I kept the 2nd one up since this was the first time anything like this happened & it seemed more secure than the 1st. Should have listened to my gut bc within less then two weeks in the middle the night I awoke to the 2nd one crashing down on my head with my kitty completely entangled (I had moved my bed under the window after 1st crash just in case). I believe bc of that her injuries were mostly busted pride & few scratches & mine were a raging migraine & a lump on my forehead - I can't imagine how much worse it could have been had I not moved my bed. Since it was past the window for return I just chalked it up to learning experience but I wanted to share my experience as a cautionary tale to anyone considering this product - IMO should just stick with the single perch. Hope this helps & sorry for the length lol

It was very easily assembled. My pet went on it a handful ...
I needed a perch that would hold about 20 lbs. It was very easily assembled. My pet went on it a handful of times at most. A few days after setting it up i heard a thump in the middle of the night (pet wasn't on it at the time). The sticker adhesive ripped off of the windowsill. I tried re-adhering it farther onto the sill (first time was about two inches from edge as instructions suggested) but then the legs wouldn't adjust correctly to the wall. I gave up after that. I wanted to avoid permanent damage to my sill or wall but I will probably end up screwing a platform to the sill now.

Well Worth the Money!
I had put this up as a present for my smallest cat Kaylee! She had just undergone being fixed and wanted a place where she could recover and rest when she returned home. We do have a home of three cats , various ages and sexes and weight, we knew that eventually they all would want to use it and maybe even together! Since this window perch holds a good 65pounds, so it could hold them all need be, we thought this was perfect in comfort and strength to provide for them all as well! The strip did not hold after a few times of them trying to use it so ended up nailing it to the spot and now it will not be going anywhere! It does come with an extra cover and I put a throw over top to make it more comfortable! Kaylee is always on it looking out or sleeping and sometimes Otis, her brother joins her. Being a boy he is the same age, but larger because he is a male. Chammy our eldest isn't sure what to think of it and have tried to put her on it and she just keeps jumping off! Well, it has done well for the two and if Chammy should change her mind we may someday find her joining her brother and sister to enjoy the view and activity...or just for a snooze! My cats absolutely love it and use it daily! I also like the fact that the cover can be washed!

My cats really love this shelf
My cats really love this shelf! It is in the window in my office, and it is large enough that I can put their favorite round kitty bed up there, and there is still room for a second cat to sit and look out. I did have to knock one star off because the velcro it shipped with just wasn't strong enough. It held for a short time, and then I started having issues with the whole thing falling, no matter what I tried. I ended up purchasing some industrial strength velcro as a last ditch effort, and that has worked perfectly - the shelf hasn't fallen once since I switched. So I can recommend the shelf, I would just highly recommend pulling off the velcro it comes with and using something heavier duty.

Purrfect!
This is the longest perch I have ever seen, and I, and my cats love it. Three of them fit on there, but more could, also, if needed. Thank you for making such a much needed product! The bonus cover was a great idea because my cats always give me 'the look' when it's in the wash:) It is very sturdy, and I didn't even have to add any of my own velcro, which I have had to do with other perches I have bought. It also arrived very quickly. I did have to adjust it so that it would fit closer into my window, but it was easy to move the screws. I actually used a drill, even though they did have predrilled holes there, which would have been much easier to use. But, I have an older house, with odd sized windows.
