Men's Swiss Army Style Watchband - Color Black Size: 19mm Watch Band - by JP Leatherworks

Finding a replacement watchband is always difficult. I prefer non-metal watchbands due to improved comfort and weight. The Victorinox Swiss Army watch is utilitarian, so I have some visual flexibility. This is not an OEM replacement band. Some of the notable differences are the width of the strap, the rounded end of the non-buckle strap, and the overall length. None of the items are significantly different, but they are enough different that I feel that this band is a couple steps lower in the design and quality compared to the original band.The connection width is fine, i.e. 19mm. The remaining strap width is about 2mm wider than the original. The original has a more tapered look. The end of the strap with the holes is rounded, compared to the original strap the has a more pointed end. The overall length of the strap is about 5-6mm shorter; not a lot, however I was using the 5th hole from the end of the strap on the original band, and now I am using the 3rd hole from the end on the replacement strap. Some of the hole-use difference is due to the different starting/ending location for the holes, number of holes (7 vs 6), and their spacing.Time will tell about the life of this strap.

This strap has a total adjustment range of about 1.375" on an overall length of about 6.625" (excluding the watch, of course). It is perfect for my (probably smaller-than-average) male wrist, using the third smallest of six holes.Bought this for a Casio Men's FT500WVB-1BV Forester Sport Watch and it fits that watch perfectly.I've been using this strap for only six months but in examining the stitching closely for this review I see no reason to doubt that it will hold up well over time - given its price.This is an inexpensive band that actually looks okay.Updated February 2016: bought a second band for an original Swiss Army (Victorinox) 2 years ago. On that much-nicer-than-the-Casio watch it fits and works properly, looks appropriate, is still holding up well to wear-and-tear and still looks good (with everyday use!).Updated May 2019: strap purchased in 2014 for Swiss Army finally(!) failed after 5 years of regular, though not daily, often-sweaty use. Immediately bought another, of course.

this is my second one. the first lasted many years and I'm happy I found it again. by far the best watchband for my watch.

I don't often review items for Amazon; however, I was pleasantly surprised with JP Leatherworks watchband for Swiss Army style watches. I have a smaller wrist & the Victorinox watch band for my watch is too big and also wears out about every 12-18 months.JP brand is of solid quality and for the price is a solid value.

Band is as described, well-made, comfortable. A little bit large for my small wrist, but easily remedied.I recommend it.

This is the second one of these that I have purchased for a watch that I wear everyday. The first one lasted about 5 years before the strap loops gave way. It is about an inch shorter than the other replacement bands which works for me as I have a relatively small wrist. (The band has six holes and I wear it on the third or fourth hole from the end.) All in all, a very good band for the price.

Great strap works well. Have had one before and the retaining straps did wear out but after a year. But overall good enough for me to order a second one.

Fit my Swiss Army Watch perfectly, but because of the size and material it is uncomfortable and needs breaking in.

The strap has been durable. Comfortable and still going strong after 5+ years
