For one thing, I like the overall look of the finished car...if it didn't have that, I don't care what the price might be. I like that it goes on quickly, meaning I can get a great shine in about half the time as some other waxes. Then there's the fact that a little goes a long way...my best guess is that I'll probably get maybe 20-25 waxes out of a single jar. I didn't want to try it on my R8 until I felt confident that it would look good and I knew how to apply it. Yes, it is expensive but my time, and yours, is valuable. By my calculations, this wax paid for itself the first time I used it and according to the label, I should have 24 more applications left! I would say that it took less than a third of the time as Turtle Wax. Previously I had thought all waxes were similar and that to get a nice protective coating on my car, I had to struggle with buffing off the excess wax. Apparently that's not the case! The Pinnacle is designed to be buffed off immediately. I was skeptical, but after doing half of my hood, I found it buffed beautifully with minimal effort. Then I stepped back and looked. It was like night and day between the half with Pinnacle and the other side. The Pinnacle brought new life to my 6 year old paint job - Aruba blue A4. Not only is it easy to apply, it doesn't leave white paste in places that you miss when buffing. It doesn't leave a whole bunch of white dust all over everything like normal wax. It doesn't leave white stuff all over the black plastic areas under the bumper or around the lights. It also hides most scratches!! That I didn't expect. I think this wax is easily worth the price. I'd buy it again if it were just for the time savings.
