Longridge 5" Pencil Golf Bag

Perfect golf bag for a short round or 9 holes. I used this for a recent weekend away when I didn’t need a full set. Don’t get me wrong, it’s unlikely to last forever, but it’ll fold up nicely until I need it again and holds enough balls, tees etc for 9 holes. Just don’t expect the best bag in the world if you’re paying this price

It will always be a compromise between quality & price when buying at this price point. The pencil golf bag is un pretentious, very functional with more than enough storage capacity to complement adequate club stowage), lightweight, good shoulder straps and ideal for my requirements as a bag for a half-set of clubs. My only disappointment is after one round the strengthening rod broke free from its flimsy retainer at the top of the bag but some husbandry should fix that. Comparing it with others that might offer more, they tend to cost at least double; so, all in all this a great value, functional bag.

I purchased this bag for smaller courses. This is ideal for 4-5 clubs, a few balls and tees. There is a large pocket for a drinks bottle (not insulated) or clothing. Overall a very lightweight alternative to a large bag and good value for money.

This is a nice golf bag, it's advertised with a double shoulder strap, but only comes with single strap

It is a good size stood next to my full size cart bag this only stands a inch or two shorter a perfect bag for say going to the driving range or if your just going for a quick blast around a 9 hole course does the job it is not designed to hold a full set of golf clubs it is only for a half set or a practice session the handle is nice and sturdy and the shoulder straps are nice for those doing a 9 hole it had a large pocket for like winter waterproofs it also has a couple of smaller pockets for like golf balls and other accessories all in all for the price it is not too bad

This is a very odd purchase. It is fair to say that the slim foldable plastic tube accommodates a few golf clubs, but the strap is both weak and weird. I have played golf on and off for more than sixty years, but I have never seen a strap which requires you to carry the bag by way of some sort of yoke over both shoulders. Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems to have been designed by somebody who has never played golf. I did my best to find some way of carrying it in what I have always understood to be the usual fashion, namely over one shoulder, or, if you use a longer strap, over one shoulder and the head. A way having been found, the plastic strap parted company from the bag with an hour. I think the word “useless” would not be out of place here.
