I got the impression from the picture and description that this was a clamp. Ot is really just a stiff plastic piece that you press on the hoop covering your garden to hold plastic cover in place. It tips the plastic cover when you try to snap it in place. I should have purchased binder clips from the office store. Would have worked perfectly and not caused so much frustration

While this seem durable, I will have to wait and see how they hold up through this cold season in the garden. They were extremely difficult to get to clamp onto the skinny standard green bamboo stakes especially with row covers. It took me forever and I ended up with extremely sore hands and fingers at the end of the process. The have stayed on the bamboo poles through snow and rough weather, so that is good. But, not sure the pain and effort was worth these ones.

The clasps work, but they do not close 100%. If you are looking to use these, they need to be attached to something of a least 1 inch in diameter. They work, with some conditions.

I wasn't sure how well these would hold mesh over my hoops for the garden during high winds and hail storms, especially since they slide easily along the hoop, but they held up perfectly. I like that I can easily slide the fabric up to access the plants but that they stay in place during extreme weather.

I thought these were like the office clips. They are not! These are specifically for the hoops that go over the plants and work great for that purpose. I was using for that purpose but thought they were adjustable for clipping the netting on something else. Nope. It works great with the crop cover hoops and netting.
