Birchwood Casey RUG4 Rig Universal Grease 3 Ounce Jar

As with other Birchwood Casey products, which I have been using for many years, this product really does a great job. A little goes a long way, so the price if right for the amount you get. It performs well on blued and Stainless Steel. I highly recommend it for any firearms application.

Good grease. Exactly as advertised. I find the jar to be just the right amount and handy to use for gunsmithing and other tasks.

I just got this looks like a pretty good product I just used it I haven't taken my gun out to try it out yet but it looks promising I don't think I'll have to write a re-review seems like it's silky smooth as butter

Great stuff!!! I noticed all my brand new H&K's have always come with visible small amounts of grease on certain parts. H&K has always gone far beyond every other manufacturer to put out the highest quality. So, I thought it would be a good idea to treat all my guns with that kind of care.

I do not own a firearm. But what I use this for is to coat my slides on my French Horn. the water based coating gets hard and sticky, and has to reapplied every week or so. this Universal grease is great, I can leave it on for months, the slides do not seize and does not get hard. been using this for 20 years without any issues Fantastic stuff.

What can I say, it’s grease. Works nicely on lubricating the moving parts of hardware.

It doesn't really feel like a grease, it's thin and oily, not at all tacky, wipes off easily, it wouldn't lubricate anything at least not for long. Its kind of like Fluid Film with a dash of Cosmoline. You don't apply it like most grease, you wipe on a thin layer with a pad, kind of like a wipe on wood finish. Like a wood finish I'd let this air out a bit before putting it back in the safe, it can burn your eyes and it's got a "severe health hazard l" rating of 3 out of 4, as high as it gets on a consumer product, indicating irreversible major injury, severe irritation, or extensive tissue damage upon contact. Usually you only see that on some industrial chemical kept in a locked room that only that one guy at the plant has a key to. Somewhat concerning to see that rating. Not exactly sure what it's there for, but should be taken seriously, you don't get that rating for no reason. Very few consumer products would have they rating. Maybe brake cleaner and some pool acids. Definitely wear gloves when handling and don't touch your eyes.
