We are new to wheelchair-ing.We have an upcoming trip, the first one since my husband's cancer diagnosis. There is no way he can walk as much as will be expected, so we got this because of the smaller size.It is heavier than I anticipated!It was all I could do to pull it out of the box, so we'll see how much trouble I have getting it in and out of the car. Thankfully, we'll have help on our trip. (not sure about future outings)The box was very banged up and I was worried the chair would be beat up, but except for one fairly deep ding in the paint in one spot, it is okay.My husband practiced, and was able to get himself around house without scratching any walls -- a bigger chair wouldn't have made it. Over all, I am pleased with the chair, just wish it was a little lighter.

Wheelchair is solid, and moves smoothly, easy to control, easy to get into car and comfortable. However it is heavier than I expected. This is not a big problem unless you need to carry by your hand.
