Great for the price, not cheap feeling, and the print was clear. Gold accents are reflective. Came in a timely manner on the day it said it would despite amazon still believing it to be "running late".

I’ve wanted this for a long time and looked at many. This one has a hint of gold around it. I always wondered why this crucifix was so special to St. Francis when he found it in an old neglected church. In the very early days after Christ’s death, it was painful to think of such a hard, shameful death…to be crucified, And with bloody feet, hands, head and heart? Naked. The early disciples could not look upon such an image of their beloved. So, the early images of Christ never depicted that agony. Here is a Christ, straight and strong ? on His cross. A small touch of blood added and the modest loincloth that a Hebrew Priest would wear to slaughter Sacrifices at the altar. Also, His Mother and disciples and the Hand of God (at the top) are depicted all around this glorious, Resigned Lamb of God.

Purchased for a friend who was recently received in to the Catholic Church. This is a beautiful depiction of the San Damiano crucifix and the quality and is as-expected. I would recommend this as a giftable item.

Absolutely stunning. At first you think her piece of wood with some gold and paint. Then get it under the light and see the glimmer and just how beautiful the image is. Beautiful... this is a very high quality product. it is well made. the gold is beautiful and the art work is clear and crisp. I was just hoping it would be decent or maybe even nice. Instead it is a work of art.
