When the bag arrived my first impression was, this isn't that big, my stuff won't fit and it seems too thin.... well to my surprise I had to use it the next day on a boat, we couldn't park close enough and had to swim to the shore and my bag was the only water proof bag...it was time to put it to the test... long story short, it fit 2 large towels (rolled-up), a large ziplock bag with sunscreen, tanning oil, etc, a bag with 5 cellphones in it, and 2 beers. My bag ended up being used as the transport method to bring items from the boat to shore, and everything arrived perfectly dry. So far very impressed with it.

I live in a Hurricane and flooding area (think Hurricane Harvey). I've been putting off making an emergency kit and a "go bag". Finally purchased this bag and it is all that and more. 20L backpack is perfect to fit my external computer hard drive, bottled water, wallet, first-aid, roll of toilet paper (yes, its true), toiletries, flash light. important papers and everything else. The cell phone bag was a bonus and I can use that anytime -- especially when I'm jogging and it rains. Don't put it off... If you need an emergency kit or a camping or beach water-tight back pack, this is it.

For those who think this is just a tarp with a strap well, the you are mostly right. Minus the fact that I can use it as a backpack or satchel. I can roll it up nicely and put it it in its own bag.It floats even with quite a bit of weight in there. If you like in a flood prone area, this bag filled with emergency items would be a super great idea.To have it with air, just don’t flush out the air. If you don’t want air, just push out the air like you would a Ziplock and the opening of the bag will keep out extra air.It is recommended to roll/fold the bag to keep it with or without the air.You can also close the buckle around another hiking or regular backpack in case of emergency or if you find things you want to keep.

We recently went on a cruise to the Caribbeans and used this while we were at the beach so that we didn't have to have someone sit on the beach with our stuff. This bag held up in the ocean and fit everything my husband and I needed throughout the day. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the bag did float some once we were in the water. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased this for our floating trip and it held up well. Fit everything I needed to bring, kept it dry and it even came with a free waterproof phone case, that I gave to a friend that needed one. I had already purchased another one when I got my phone, so it was a nice extra to be able to hand out. The backpack is lightweight and you can easily attach to your tube if you have your string or carabiner. Would definitely purchase again if needed.

I bought this prior to going tubing with my friends. At one point this was my life raft when I lost my tube lol. It floats and is truly waterproof. Everyone gave me their belongings to put in this backpack and it was pretty comfortable. It floated me and itself to safety when I lost my tube and I couldn't touch the floor. Also love that it can fold down into the tiniest compact pouch. Def taking this when I can travel the world again since its waterproof. Worth. The. Money. I wouldn't necessarily use it as a replacement for a hiking backpack but if you're doing water activities like boating, paddle boarding, tubing, at the beach, kayaking this is perfect. I haven't had to wear it for long periods of time so that's why I'm not recommending switching to this solely for big hikes.

With this bag, I’m pretty sure I can become a hiker;). I got this for a recent family trip to niagra falls because I had read It was critical to have some type of waterproof bag when visiting the Falls (btw it’s not!). But I suspect this would be perfect for items when boating as it’s totally waterproof, floatable and wearable. (I actually just ordered one for my brother who is an avid kayaker and sailor)While not needed for this trip I still used it the entire time as my pocketbook and loved it. It’s super light weight and the magnet/roll close in genius. So easy to open and close. The outside pocket was perfect for my phone, chapstick, wipes and the attached case to store the bag doubled as a mini purse inside the bag I used for cash and a credit card.It rolls up to a small sack that I now keep in the car and have used a number of times to carry things. Great purchase and great price.

We wanted to like this bag so much. We had a trip planned for Cancun and I bought this hoping it would be a great solution for our personal belongings. When I received the bag, I loaded it with a towel, sunglasses, and a few loose items. I followed the instructions and put it in our pool to test it. I left it in there for about 10 min and opened it up, everything was wet. I chalked it up to being a rookie, so I completely dried the inside of the bag, then put some other dry items in the bag. I followed the instructions and put it in the pool again for about 10 min, things were wet again. I ended up buying a different bag as this is clearly not reliable, perhaps it was defective somewhere. At any rate, we did not take it with us, and I will be requesting a refund.

This bag came handy earlier than expected. I was out with a friend with a motorcycle and it started to pour down. I had this bag in my leather knapsack purse so, I put my purse in this bag and off we went. My purse was dry and safe after an hour of driving in the rain. It is a really well made bag from stitching to seams and clips. I was keeping it for the boating season to use on the boat...but was glad to have it for this trip!

Good bag for day trip in a canoe or a beach. It has a really good seal on it and came with a free waterproof case for your phone.

I took a hiking in this rainny afternoon with this backpack. It works perfectly. Every thing in it keeps dry and safe.Good product.

Exactly what I thought it would be. Light weight, rolls up and fits in a little carry bag when not in use. Happy with my purchase!
