I just had a hemilaminectomy and microdiscectomy surgery to fix a herniated disc at L4/L5. I bought this to help with sitting in the car and sitting in regular chairs to help support my back while I heal and probably beyond. This is perfect! I also bought a lumbar roll which I will be returning because the strap wasn't working. I like this much better and will probably buy a second one eventually to keep in my car or at work for my desk job. It is a little bulky so it isn't something you could throw in a bag/purse unless it was a large bag. Nevertheless, I could see myself bringing this thing with me to class at School.I think I would rather have straps that clip around the chair like a seatbelt rather than the stretchy elastic. I could easily sew a buckle on here if need be. I have found I don't necessarily need the strap as I can just adjust it and my back holds it in place. This could be an issue when driving though.Very pleased with this as it is already helping me with sitting.

I work from home and have a very good office chair but, I needed a little more support in the lumbar area. I'm 5'4 & weigh 140 pounds so I wasn't sure how this product was going to fit me. I was pleasantly surprised that it's the perfect fit for my body and office chair and has even helped to decrease my lower back pain (I suffer from a bad back and see a chiropractor 4X a month.) I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a pillow like this. It's a great price too for such good quality. Can't go wrong!

This product provides excellent support. Almost too much for me. It fits the curve of my back very well, though it seems to push me forward in my chair. The chair I use it on does have some lumbar support in itself, so that may have something to do with it. It is a sturdy, well-made model. My coworkers jokingly called it the "deluxe model" since it is very well made and large compared to the ones they use (mesh support or small wedge pillow) I like it most days, though sometimes I find it is just too much. In a chair with little or no support this would be excellent. I would not recommend this pillow for larger people, as the sides are formed and curve in toward my sides. I am a small-framed person; I think they would dig in the sides of a larger person making it uncomfortable.

So my wife is the shopper. When I ask her to find/shop for me something that I need (1) she looks at reviews and she rates those reviews by what they say about the product not what the reviewer puts as a rate bc she believes that is a personal preference (2) what it's made out of (3) the amenities, what the seller is trying to convey to us buyers that this product does that others do not (4) she will Google the product away from where she is purchasing the product and will try to make sure that the site is not affiliated with the site she is purchasing on (you can't always find this but most the time you can) (5) the price, she will go to several sites to ensure she's getting the best deal (6) I am not sure what 6 is but I am sure she has one lol. I told her to find me a lumbar support for work. My new job I sit at a desk 70% of the time. I have been an athlete all my life. I played football, basketball and baseball and a y middle aged athlete will tell you that when you become middle aged....you feel well....aged lol. The times have caught up to me. I'm 6'2, weigh about 230. After taking this job I started coming home needing Ibuprofen, back massages and the house started smelling of Bengay. So my wife bought this and I am telling you this is the first night I have came home and didn't need any of that....well except the back massage, who doesn't like a back massage. I like this bc it forms to your body. I'm sure other products have great support too but when my wife asked me why I liked it that was the first thing I said was it formed to my back instead of my back forming to it. Go figure that is the reason she decided on this one over all the others that she looked at. I would highly recommend this and I will probably buy another one for my car and my home. Give it a try

“Might” work well on the car seat, but it is too small on all dimensions for a sofa or a large chair. Have used it daily for over a week and is too small. The fabrication is very good as well as the fabric quality; however, the depth of cushion is too little and cushion is too soft, thus not helping at all as a “lumbar support”.It is unfortunate as I needed it badly.Does not help.

I had a perfect lumbar support purchased a few years ago on Amazon. Unfortunately it was left on an airplane and alaska air has not been able to find it to return. I desperately need lumbar support because of a back injury and so I went to the order history and selected repurchase this item.Of course I was expecting the exact item but instead received a very cheaply made support that basically is just a cheap piece of foam in a similar cover that has no support because it just compresses down to almost flat.I was going to return it but needed time to search for what would actually be a good lumbar support and to receive the new support before sending this one back because although it is crap it was at least something.Unfortunately I just realized I just missed the 30 day return make so just wasted $30 on this useless piece of foam.Do not buy if you want an actual lumbar support. And apparently do not trust "buy this item again" from Amazon!!!!

I use a lumbar support when sitting on the couch. I don’t have a bad back but once in awhile my back stiffens or gets sore. A lumbar support has really relieved this issue for me. So I’ve been in search of the perfect one (and perfect color 😬) and have ordered a couple. One I’ve been using has started to smush after a little over a year. It wasn’t very expensive so it’s ok. Just received this one and love it. It’s soft and comfortable and so far I am really happy with the purchase. I highly recommend.
