This is the best spatula that I have ever used. It is very sturdy and thin. It is very easy to get under any item that you are cooking, even foods that are stuck to the pan. Food also slides off without a problem too. The of the spatula is tapered, so I have even been able to cut items in the pan while cooking too. Admittedly, this is an expensive spatula, but if taken care of it, it should last a lifetime, so I was willing to invest in it. There are some alternative brands out there that do almost as good for a significantly lower price though. Originally, I had just one of these, but there were a number of times where I needed two, so I purchased a second one. Side Note: Since this is a metal spatula, you should never use it on non-stick cookware. You need plastic spatulas for those.
