    IT IS JUNK DON'T BUY

This product is not easy to set up as advertised. The instructions are poorly written. The website provided in the instructions is not a functioning website. I tried using my phone and my lap top and got the very same results. Nothing. The instructions are poorly written. One should not have to call tech support to get a product to operate. Funny (not really) even the instructions that came with the product indicate problems with the website and connecting to the unit. DON'T WASTE YOU TIME WITH THIS PRODUCT OR YOUR MONEY

It works great as a network extender (providing a wired ethernet port). Easy setup

So far I'm having good luck with Prescitech N300 Mini WiFi Range Extender Wireless Repeater . I just set it up yesterday but setup is easy, mostly with switches, and it worked right away. To be clear, in this mode it receives your existing wifi and provides a network connection to a device through its ethernet port.

I dropped it to one star.

Now I set this thing up and it worked. But for some reason I stopped using it. Flash forward a few months and after reading an tech article on the parent company that makes the device, I am glad I did. All I will say is, this a product you should use with a great deal of caution, if use it all.
