All is good!
I ordered on Friday the 27th and received the Hantek DDS3x25 on Monday the 30th , Never in my life has a package arrived as quick as this one did, after opening and testing everything seems to be in tip top shape and working order. I can recommend this to anyone in need of a reliable seller and a reliable Direct Digital Synthesis Frequency Generator. Thanks a million From the Netherlands!

The product could be fine, but Hantek doesn't have support
The DDS-3X25 works fine in part of the frequency spectrum. When you want to work with ELF (<10Hz) with sinewave output, the generator fails making a "step" into the waveform (one step in the rising part of the sinewave per cycle). The problem doesn't present if you go more than 30Hz.It seems that is a bug in the firmware (not the PC software)I try to contact Hantek 2 times by email, because I don't speak mandarin. They don't answer me at all.

Functional, but uninspired software
The DDS-3X25 works for most of my basic needs. I'm not pushing this function generator very hard (mainly sine waves under 1 kHz and occasionally up to 20 kHz) and sometimes using two of them in tandem. The software occasionally locks up and requires a restart on my computer (Win7-x32). On another computer in the office it blue screens on rare occasions. Other than the crashing, the software isn't horrible, but it sometimes makes things harder than I would like. The simulated knobs look cool, but it would be better if you could select a digit and use keyboard or mouse inputs to increase or decrease the value (manually stepping or sweeping through a range). The software sweep function is fairly limited, but I guess it does work. For critical work we break out an old HP 33120A, but the Hantek takes up a lot less room on the desk (or bench) and is a lot cheaper than even a used HP.Update: Hantek indicates this product only supports up to Windows 7 (which I had been using). I recently tried to install it on a Windows 10 computer and the driver will not install as it comes from Hantek. I was able to get it to work by disabling driver signing, but it's unfortunate when companies stop supporting new operating systems for products that are still being sold new. Google "enable disable device driver signing" (try at your own risk).
