Yum!
Yes, some came broken! Still gets 5 stars from me. They are hollow, not easy to ship. There were about 3 broken completely and one or two others partially broken. I just put them in a glass, taste just as good. I am picky about chocolate! This is good eurpoena chocolate. And you get a good amount.

pretty good but pricey
These chocolate eggs are beautifully wrapped. I needed to be able to 'stuff' them with cream cheese so cutting off the tops was easy as they are pretty thin...the problem with that is that there were some with indents making them mishapen and a white finish on some of the eggs like they had melted a bit at some point. They were the size of a real egg--I would have preferred them larger but they worked for the project. Pretty expensive for not being perfect but they worked.

Real egg size chocolate eggs!
Purchased these for Spring time desserts. Broke the ends off and filled with mousse. They were a bit expensive, but the end result was fantastic! Would have liked better packaging for the cost as several eggs were broken in the bag.

Arrived crushed and melted
I purchased these at Costco last year and they were great. This year I was out of town and returning on Easter "Eve"/Easter Saturday so did not have time to pick up elsewhere. I ordered 2 bags of eggs, trying to be organized. I came home to a box with 2 bags of eggs that were dented, foil ripped and chocolate that had melted and reset. I live in CT so it is not hot here this time of year. Eggs need to be shipped another way or wrapped in a better fashion. I had to go to CVS and pick up candy I did not want to use for my kids egg hunt.

Good for one season
These ornaments are the perfect size to hang on a 7 foot tree (or smaller). There's no need to worry about packing them away until next year either! Just have them for Christmas dinner dessert. The kids had fun finding these ornaments on the tree throughout Christmas. These chocolates taste smooth and creamy, not waxy and overly sweet. They are about the size of a golf ball with strings long enough to hang without a hook. A fun way to decorate a Christmas Tree without all the fuss.

Extremely disappointed
I bought these hollow eggs to fill with a cheesecake mixture for Easter. There were 40 eggs. Only 7 were shaped perfectly. 15 were smashed in spots, but might have been usable. The remaining 18 were too badly dented and even completely flattened in some cases to be of any use whatsoever for the project I intended. And these were not cheap! As I said-EXTREMELY disappointed. There was no problem with the taste -hence the two stars -so if I had wanted to break them up further and serve them as Easter Bunny goofs, I could have, I suppose. The box was not dented in any way so I am assuming the fact that they arrived after dinner and had sat in a hot truck all day might have contributed to the problem - but that was not my fault. (We brought them in the house as soon as the doorbell rang.) Shippers should be aware of such "perishable" or "damageable" items. I certainly will not be purchasing this product next year!!!

As described and delicious!
Was a little concerned reading some reviews, but happy to report that these arrived intact, perfect shape, no damage . . . AND, this French chocolate is lovely. Yes, it tastes different from an American chocolate bar -- but nicely done, and very pleased because I needed hollow Easter eggs . . . there's a sermon in that :-)

My son loves!!!
Great price, especially for size...did not realize the eggs are same size as real eggs. Taste like cheap Palmer chocolate to me...so I do not care for these eggs...but my son loves em! That's all that matters to us...this is the second time we have bought these eggs.
