Side Hustle Blueprint: How to Make an Extra $1000 Per Month Writing eBooks!: (Book 2)

This book is good for writers learning to write an eBook. For someone like me, quite a bit of it I already knew. However, I did learn a few new things in regard to launching. I will read that part more carefully a second time and use it when I release a new book.I like how Cartwright divided the steps into chapters. At the end of each chapter, she provides a checklist of what you learned in that chapter and what you should do before you move on to the next chapter. She gives you good ideas of both free and paid items to get your book published via links usually. Some of those I agree with, and others I don’t. For instance, she recommends Fiverr for getting a cover design. Unless I know the person does an excellent job, I wouldn’t go too cheap on my cover. In case you don’t know what Fiverr is, it’s a website where you can get things done for five dollars. Sometimes, though, you do pay more as the seller becomes established on the website. Gigs, as they are called, can be more than five dollars.Cartwright is good at motivating you as the writer. She encourages you to write every day and find a partner who will keep you on task. If you can’t find one, she gives you her email and tells you she will find you one. What author does that? No one else I can ever remember reading.I am a visual person so I like Cartwright’s graphics in her eBook. One is the writing process, and the other one is the launching schedule. Both of these would be very easy to print out and hang some place where you can see it each and every day. Now that motivates me!

I have bought quite a few books on writing non-fiction, some good, some not too good. Side Hustle Blueprint comes out as one of the great ones!I found myself constantly highlighting sections, which for me, means there are a lot of wonderful nuggets of information I want to come back to. Lise set out a very well-organized way to write and publish your book. She was also helpful in ways to research your topic and how to market your book. Although I'm not particularly enamored with the words "side hustle" and "moola" (lol), I was very impressed with learning a specific action plan that works! I will definitely be implementing Lise's tips in the near future. Glad I bought this book :)

I haven't even finished reading the book yet and so far it's already helped me more than most ever do. I get so disheartened by all the fake guidance out there - it's a breath of fresh air to find real helpful information. One optional analytical tool mentioned on her resource page (link in her book) was unknown to me, and I've been writing (fiction and nonfiction) for years! And while much of what she teaches about getting ebook ideas is geared toward writing nonfiction, I think it can work with fiction too. I'm always looking for ways to improve my writing and my business, and I'm hopefully optimistic that this Side Hustle Blueprint will assist me in that purpose. Thanks and gratitude to the author!

Just the facts, ma'am.God bless Lise Cartwright. She's providing, at a very low cost, all the info we need to get started writing and selling ebooks. This looks to me like the very same information I've seen others charge thousands for. It's clear, concise, and to the point.As soon as I follow the instructions in her other books (Pimp Your Profile and Side Hustle Blueprint...Without Leaving Your Day Job), I plan to try her ebooks plan.I guess I need to hustle if I'm going to keep up with the flow of information from Lise.

Even if you're already somewhat familiar with the ins and outs of self-publishing, there are some great insights and useful strategies in this book. The section on launching your book, building momentum, and then sustaining it post-launch was worth the price of admission alone! Definitely recommended!

As someone who is getting ready to publish their first Kindle book I'm super glad I purchased this book. It was an easy read and the steps to publishing eBooks were clear and easy to follow. The tools and action lists are excellent and knowing what tools to use is worth the price of the book alone. Would definitely recommend buying this book if you are like me and just starting to publish books, although even if you have a few books out you may still learn something.

Not having yet self-published a book, I found this book very helpful. First, in the thorough explanation of the process to get a book to market. Second, in the vast array of tips and outside sources given. I feel well-prepared after reading this book to self-publish my own book.

When Lise writes a book, I buy it. From the first book in the Side Hustle Series to the oDesk guide, she always packs her books with a ton of amazing information. Since I've been working on writing my own Kindle book, her advice and tips have been incredibly helpful. I'm a reader for life!

Slide offers you a clear, easy to follow guide to researching, writing and publishing your book. The information is easy to read, very doable and definitely worth putting time aside to read, action and follow. I particularly like the marketing guide templates and checklists and follow up resources section. Worthwhile investment for newbies and experienced authors/publishers. Thank you

This is a great book if you are looking for a step by step blue print to get into self publishing your own books! The best bit is that Lise has done this herself, it's not just some book she has outsourced to a writer and published. She is living proof that her system works and i am looking forward to getting my own books onto virtual paper and out in the world! To top it off if you have any questions Lise is more than helpful via her blog or if you just pop her an email. Brilliant!

This is a total bargain considering what you learn - it's really well written, and is jam-packed full of useful advice.
