great selection of stabilizer and love that they come in their own storage tubes

My package came with "Sew and Wash" instead of the water soluble topper, which is how I wanted it. The polymesh is great, love the storage tubes. HOWEVER, I'm only giving 2 stars since I have wasted a lot of time and materials on a project, spending most of the last 2 evenings trying to pick out the supposedly wash away stabilizer behind a sheer net base. The Tear and Wash did neither, wouldn't tear away and wouldn't dissolve despite soaking for hours, and appears to be more like the polymesh. Either the product doesn't work as claimed or else mislabeled? The sew and wash somewhat tears away, but again after soaking overnight twice, still not dissolved, and since I am out of some of the materials, I will be spending yet another several hours picking the stabilizer out from these embellishments for a professional level ballroom costume.
