ZIPLOC® SPACE BAG 2CO/1SC (RATIONALIZED EFFECTIVE 3/1/15)

I was surprised at how little the carry-on size bag held. The bags themselves are a great size, but you can't use three inches of it on either end, one end has the air vents, the other needs space to close the bag and allow for rolling.The suitcase size fit perfectly in my carry-on (22") with the unused ends folded under and held twice as much as the carry-on bags.Pushing the air out of them is a bit of an art, like previous reviewers mentioned. It helps to start rolling it up as much as possible to get the air moving out, then had to place my knees on top to get rid of the excess air, as you cannot roll the whole thing up when there are clothes it them.The more air you get out of them, the more wrinkled your clothes will be. If you fold up your items very neatly before hand that definitely helps with the wrinkle factor.Ultimately, if I could buy them over, I would just go for more of the suitcase size for my carry-on. Fit great in my suitcase and help more.

this product allows my luggage to stay organized, and i do feel like i can pack more stuff in my luggage, especially if you're backpacking. this allows me to keep my dirty worn clothes from my clean ones, and it's very easy to find what i need immediately. i've being using this brand of roll-up bags for a while, and after a few uses, little leaks do appear and tape can only do so much after a while. plus, the zipper part can get ripped if you're a little too aggressive when you zip it up. you can't expect to keep them forever, but it is a great travel accessory.

These are not good to use over and over as the zip lock becomes loose. If you plan to move several times during your trip, figure something else out. Also, in a hurry to get going, the plastic got caught in the suitcase zipper, ripped and was useless after that. I switched to stuff sacks and they work much better for organization and space saving

Used these for a recent trekking trip to Nepal and MT. Everest base Camp. They do help to keep your items clean and dry and to save space. The slip seal that closes the bag is a problem, as it may slip off its track. Also, with heavy use the platic bags do pop especially at high altitude.

I travel frequently, packing is always a hassle for me. normally I don't even know how long ill be on the job. I was able to pack more and keep work clothes away from my daily clothes and when another luggage had a broken bottle of wine, my luggage was safe! wish I could say the same for some of my fellow passenger's who ended up with red wine soaked into their bags.

I bought these for a backpacking trip around Asia and was amazed at how much more they allowed me to fit into my bag.I'd made sure not to overfill, and followed their instructions, and all that jazz. One broke in the first three days, before I ever got a chance to pull it out of my bag. I only brought the two big ones with me, and the other one is still going strong (two months later), but I'd probably not buy these particular space saver bags again.

These are best for bulky items like sweaters that don't matter too much if they get wrinkled. I have a few to go between college and home and they work great! However, these were a little odd at first because they didn't seem to let out the air. I opened the edge that lets out the air with my finger and they worked perfectly after that.

This item worked just for one trip. The locking mechanism broke when it was taken to its destination, and wouldn't work on the way back. Overall if you want to use this as something to store items for a long time it MAY work for you. However, this seems to be a useless piece of you know what!!Update: Even if it does work for more than one leg of a journey, consider the fact you'd also need a vacuum at your destination to make it work on your way back. This is not likely to be available when going to a hotel / cruise, but may be available when visiting family.Rating: Not recommended

I found the roll-up bags to be exactly as I had hoped. I am able to pack more with bags than without.
