I really like the concept of this. It's easy to use and pretty sturdy. I threw it in the dish washer so I would say it's easy to clean. Here's the thing it's WAY faster and easier to just use a knife to cut off the top. With this you have to make sure all the leaves are inside it (which is a pain) in order for it to work properly. My original thought was if I was having guests this would like nice and pretty versus cutting off the top. I went to a BBQ this past weekend and after two strawberries I was like "I don't have time for this." I cut my strawberries as I normally do. And then I realized I normally cut them in half so my thought of making them "pretty" is irrelevant. If you have time for this... you may enjoy it more then me. This is just not for me!

On the packaging it said it could also be used for tomatoes. I only tried it once but I'm not so sure about that claim. The strawberries were fun to hull :)

While looking at the product on Amazon, It states that it is a fruit slicer, but do not see how. There are no instructions on how to use it as a slicer. The package itself doesn’t state that it is a slicer.

I love gadgets...my wife, not so much. I thought this one looked pretty cool so I ordered it for her. I usually have strawberries with my breakfast most days and my wife usually prepares it for me. First time she used it she liked it. Has been using it since then.

Fantastic little product. Works best if you insert and then twist before pulling out.

My husband bought. I wouldn't have bought it. It's okay but not really worth it. My fingers, a straw or knife are quicker and easier.

I bought this for fun. The price was good. Now I find myself buying strawberries so I can use it more. It is easy to use and the strawberries look better either whole or sliced. It’s a fun gadget.

How nice to have a simple, easy to store tool that does a precise job. It's easy to use and takes out the inedible parts of the fruit, saving more of the good stuff.
