24v input into this device, choice of 5 outputs to simulate 4,8,12,16,20mA
24v input into this device, choice of 5 outputs to simulate 4,8,12,16,20mA, into my Wago PLC analog card, negative from card to dc-com from the 24v PSU.This does precisely what it says. I looked at more expensive models with 1mA or smaller granularity, but they were about twice as expensive as this unit. My need was limited, I have a variable signal 4-20mA which my PLC gets as an input. In my lab, I needed to test that my program would react as expected to the different input values. This system allowed me to test before taking my PLC into the field.I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Nice Loop Tester for the price
I purchased this loop tester to test analog inputs into PLCs. The five output levels are convenient, but you can only use one at a time. I resolved this issue by wiring the outputs to a rotary switch so I could select the desired output. I used a 9VDC battery to power the signal and connect the tester to the PLC. At the 20mA output, the PLCs 31936 counts where you would expect 32000. This level of accuracy was excellent for my testing. This is a good low-cost solution for injecting 4 to 20mA signals.

Seems very accurate, and is certainly very handy to have in the toolbox.
So useful in the field when deploying sensors/automation and something isn't behaving right. I appreciate that it produces more than just 1 or 2 values. DIN mount is not really the most convenient configuration for this purpose, but what the heck, it works great. A switch would be very, very useful too: will probably go ahead and retro-fit one as others have apparently done.

I like it for loop simulation but I wished it had it's own internal 24V when wanting to source on a passive source without it's own 24V.

for the money its great
when testing out some analog inputs o a plc its the greatest .They are accurate to <1 % which is usually more than enough for plc setup and not final calibrations

Five Stars
Did exactly what I wanted it to. All current outputs are very stable and appear to be very accurate.

its ok
it works like it supose to work, its a cost efective solution for testings loops of 4-20 m a .

Works perfectly
Combined with a dc stepup module to drive this at 24vdc.Past certification without adjustment.Very simple to setup on a rotary switch.
