After having used our late, great albeit pricey 'Sport Dog' trainer for 4 years, my son in his haste bent a pin on the charger and that was the end of the collar. I was skeptical considering the old adage of " you get what you pay for" but not needing a collar for water retrieval any longer, not wanting to overspend & reading over reviews for this collar, ordered it.It's everything it's advertised as! Frequency works longer distances than expected; we play a lot of frisbee in public parks as well as hike trails with him and would only use the shock feature if he encountered danger. I'd like the 'beep' to be a tad lower in tone (kind of loud), that's the feature we use vs. vibration or shock.We definitely recommend this collar for our 40lb Field Spaniel, Luke!

So far the collar has worked effectively but I must warn to start on the lowest setting possible and to make sure the prongs are touching before increasing. My Siberian husky got shocked on a higher level than usual due to no response and let out a shout that broke my heart. We lowered it significantly and he was able to react. So start at 0 if you have to for small dog it may be all you need. My husky weighs 45lbs.

The collar is easy to assemble and the size medium collar is plenty long to fit around even a large-sized dog (grown 100 lb cane corso female). Bought it for our puppy, to curb whining and incessant barking. Love that it has three features - a chirp, vibration, and the shock. The strength settings go from 0 to 100, which is far more than enough for even a grown dog. Previously owned a collar that cost over $200, and this collar has every feature that one did, including the desired range. I've walked all over our property with the remote and the it still vibrated the collar - excellent quality for the price. Stays charged for days. Would highly recommend!

I LOVE this collar. We have had this a week now. The collar holds a charge great we have only needed to charge it once this week, and it paired with the remote super easily. The tester bulb was great to know it worked. Haha even got my husband to shock his leg to make sure it wasn't painful and it wasn't. As for my dog it's like owning a new dog. He wears it during the day and it's like it keeps him focused when it's on. We have only needed to use shock once (it was an emergency - he was almost bit by a snake) and this collar has done it's job. We use the beep as a leave it/come here command and he always follows it. I advise this collar. I am getting ready to order a second and third collar for my other two dogs.

The media could not be loaded.  Please don’t not buy this product. I’ve only had it for a week and it burned my dog neck. I’ve never used the shock because I didn’t want to shock him I just used the beep and vibrate occasionally when the beep didn’t work. The batter had busted and burned my dog severally. I only notice when going to wash him after he’s had it on for a week.

Product is defective. They should send replacement. I work in manufacturing the level buttons are below the plastic either not set in place correctly or hole button comes through in plastic is to small or offset. Even using a pen you can not engage button. So Ievels of Sound, vibra or shock Cant be adjusted. Shock was on 20 and neither I or dog can feel it. Once I contacted seller they want pic or video wtf? for a defective product? Just making it harder to return in hopes people say fi, I'm not sending picture or video, wasted enough of my time waiting for this one to arrive now I'm supposed to dick around taking pictures further delaying replacement. I will order from another company that doesn't want to waste more of my time over their defective product. I never write bad reviews, completely understandable that there is defect on occasion but the complete bs from seller in dealing with return of defective product really pissed me off. Would have taken a replacement even though it means I would have to go out of my way to ups to return their junk. But no they had to try to make harder. Now I'm done with them. Buy at own risk, defective product bs Service Stars zero across the board.

Use this on my small yorkie, it really does stop the barking. I use the beep then vibrate function as a warning, if she doesnt stop i use lvl 1 shock on her. Only had to use the shock function a few times. Now she knows to stop barking once she hear the beep /vibrate.

Highly recommend this collar. We only had to use the shock once & vibrate twice before our dog realised late night barking is definitely not acceptable. As long as she has the collar on we don't need to take further action. Wish we had thought of this sooner, would've saved a lot of sleepless nights. Easy set up & holds its charge well. Good seller.
