I bought this wok ring for use on my Samsung gas range. I wanted to buy one from Samsung when I purchased the range but it was expensive (close to $100) and had to be special ordered so I never purchased it. Low and behold, after nearly 10 years, I ran across this wok ring on Amazon for a fraction of the price. How could I go wrong (I didn't).The ring comes well packaged and arrived in perfect condition (tough to damage cast iron, right?). The finish looked a little rough with minor color variations so I decided to "season" it. Full disclosure: seasoning is completely unnecessary because you're not actually cooking anything on it. I seasoned it to improve the appearance and rust resistance, my personal choice.Anyhoo... it fits perfectly on my Samsung gas range, matching up with the cast iron grates precisely, no wiggling, perfectly stable. Furthermore, my 10 1/2' wok fits really well on the ring, providing a much more stable platform to stir fry to my heart's delight. I am tickled pink to have this wok accessory and highly recommend it.

I love it; fits over iron grate, doesn't slip, doesn't block flame; let's me use a traditional round bottom wok and have the flames kiss all the way up the sides. This ring lets the wok sit down close to the flame on the stove grate I have. Using this on a newer whirlpool gas range, the grate is all of the way across the top, with four points converging toward the center of each burner, open in center of the burner. Received very quickly. Thank you.

I didn’t even know these existed until I saw one on a gas range at an appliance center. I found it on Amazon and love it! It makes cooking with my wok so easy!

I have a GE Profile stove, and while the grooves on the wok ring don't quite fit into the slots on the stove top, it is sturdy enough to put the wok on. We've been using it for a couple of years, and have not had any issues so far. It did get rusty on the tops where the wok touches the ring, but that could be because the wok is wet. I will try the seasoning tip I read from another reviewer to see if that will do the trick.

I just purchased a new GE Cafe propane range, and the grates on the unit are flat (which normally would be awesome!) But my 30 year old hand-hammered wok wouldn't sit right. GE said I had to get a flat bottomed wok, but saw this and took a chance. Fits PERFECTLY on my grates and holds the wok rock-solid.

I had a wok ring and was nervous about it moving about on the surface of my stovetop. Because of that I was not using my wok for a while. I brought the wok out for this ring, and it held up. I don't have a GE stove, but a vintage one. It holds well even when it latches onto two 'fingers' of the grate. It doesn't slide around. I am also glad that my wok stays in place when I put it on it. My other ring is smoother and my wok rolls so that I have to hold on to the handle when I use it. Not with this ring.

Its sturdy and heavy. Keeps the pots stable on the gas stove top and fits in the grills slots.

Very well made and durable. It'll last a lifetime and then some... Sits firmly on a GE Cafe gas range so it doesn't slip or slide. Very happy we bought it...

Looks good but my Bosch stove not arrive yet.

Don't waste money buy anything else. This perfectly fit and sit on the GE range grate solid and won't move around while cooking with the round bottom wok sitting on it. I bought 2 other ones and waste of money. Only reason I gave it 4 🌟 is because this thing is overpriced in my opinion. After all it's only a piece of cast iron!

Sits correctly on samsung gas range. Easier to cook with round bottom clay vessels as they sit without wobbling. I recommend this product.
