Well the box is tiny and you wonder how they get the charger and lights in that size box. Well the charger is in 2 parts and comes with screws if you want to mount it on a fence or wall. The lights are tiny on a thin wire and you think oh heck they won't be bright enough. But they really are bright. So far they have lasted most of the night but doubt they will in winter we will see.Annoying things that make them only 3 stars? The lead is attached to the solar panel and if you want to wrap them around something it is a pain. The light modes are controlled by a push button on the back the first mode is like a demo mode rotating through all the other ones.Now this may not look like a problem BUT once the battery runs out or you switch the unit off. it forgets which mode you set it in and goes back to demo mode so you could end up resetting it every day!

Used to decorate a hanging heart shape garden decoration. Took some time to unwind the copper and wind around the wicker heart, but it was worth the effort. It looked great at the bottom of the garden, quite bright for such a small light. HOWEVER, it only lasted 3 months and 1 week before the lights just did not work. Checked the cable, all appears ok. Pressed to turn off, on, change the mode and checked the solar panel, which is facing high in the south. Am now looking for a difference brand and preparing myself for the unravelling task ahead.

Great lights for on a fence or tree!

On/off and mode switch were hard to tell which combination you have selected and whether you had actually switched lights on. Had to wait till dark to find out. Used in garden and they look lovely.

It needs to be almost dark before the light come on. consider something that has a lux adjustment when you want the lights on.

Nice slight, slight problem with them but customer service was excellent. Good value

I bought these to wrap around a small tree and when I first took them out of the packaging I was not impressed , they looked so small, fragile and flimsy with the thinnest wire imaginable I didnt think they would survive the installation but they did and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, come night time I was really impressed , they are really quite bright and very impressive, it has a wide range of different flashing programmes and they have worked perfectly every night since , would highly recommend.
