Useful if you live where it doesn't get below freezing temps...
I'm being generous with three stars for this review, as I am sure others in my position would give it a one.Lemme splain:The product description says it is water resistant and suitable for outdoor use. The description does not mention a temperature range for operation.I have found that water runs into or accumulates somehow in the locking mechanism, forms ice in cold weather, and prevents the lock from opening even when the fingerprint is recognized.This makes the lock useless to me, as I live in the mountains where it gets below freezing in the winter. If you live in the Sun Belt or the Pacific Northwest even, this lock would be amazing. I'll give it three stars so people who live where it doesn't freeze can know it's worth it for them to buy, but stay away if you live where it freezes.
