Will a guest be able to let themselves in early or check out late?** A: I have 3 of these locks and one Kaba lock im going to sell since I just sold that home. No they start exactly and stop at the exact time you set them for! They can check out late if they dont go outside, but there code will stop working. Thats the beauty of them! **Q: How do I get a username and password for my lock. When I received my lock it did not come with one.** A: You call the toll free # listed in the instructions and they will setup your account. Then you will receive an email with complete instructions to create your password **Q: I am assuming you can bypass entering a code and just use a key to enter - in case there is ever an issue with the keypad not working. Is this correct?** A: YES you can use the key. I no longer use this product because the spring in the handle failed twice and that is really a bad issue with tenants in the property. **Q: Does this lock open in either direction? Reversible?** A: Suzanne, the handle is reversible. I no longer use Resort Lock as you may have seen from my "review".
