Outstanding Religious Reader
While this book was written in 1970, it reads as if it were published today. I read this book after reading Pope Francis' The Joy of the Gospel and found Christ Is Alive! to be an excellent companion piece to the Pope's book. It is a concise and comprehensive text on Catholic Christian teaching. It can be read easily, having a clear writing style. It offers the reader much to ponder while not being overwhelming to the average person.

Breath of fresh literary air
Despite being written in the 1970s, this book was beautifully written and holds current relevance . Also has very relatable content , which is important - you dont feel as though the author is talking down to you or at you. I love this book so much that I ordered other works by this author

Christ Alive by Michel Quoist is a very good book, down to earth theology and apt for this particular time. I stronglyrecommend it to readers who are struggling with their Christian faith.
