I'm a Cali Central Coast fisherman, I go through a ton of fish that can be tough to slice into. After wanting to upgrade my basic Rapala Knife that most of us start out with, I settled on this one because of the unique design and flashy color.I'll be honest, at first, the offset design wasn't my friend, I was making mistakes. However, that was just me. After going through a few fish, I finally got the hang of it, and it became really natural for me. The knife holds it's sharpness pretty well, enough that I can process 10 ~4-5lb Rockfish without having to resharpen.If there was anything I could change, it would be the blade length. A 7.5" blade would be a little more maneuverable for me, but I think that's more so from being used to handling smaller knives.

Its flexible, for those cut where you want every last possible bit of meat, the sharpness guarantees that, s visual inspection shows no wire edge just a solid sharpening job. Its thin in all the directions you'd want a fillet knife to be. The handle feels great. I'll be fishing later today at which point I'll have a much better idea of what this thing can do but out of the box and my experience with all things sharp leads me to believe this was worth every penny and then some!

Nowhere near as sharp as a fillet knife should be it's also sharpened at a 45 degree angle which is not the best for a fillet knife there's some kind of design were they grind out a shank from the back of the knife and it really looks like someone did it with a handheld grinder it's real dirty rough and jagged.Tried to emailing the the vendor, no response.Honestly for that price you can get something much better at Walmart Turner's Outdoorsman Bass Pro Shop at that price point you can get something much better that's a combo fillet knife and pliers.The grip is really nice but you know that's just that first glance I have no idea what it's going to feel like after 2 months Eclipse seems real nice the rest of the knife is garbage it's like they took a hacksaw blade sharpened it grind-it-out an option the back and through a decent grip bottom line is I feel like I was taking advantage of for that price point and misled by the pictures and testimonials and description.

Sharpest knife I’ve ever used! Didn’t even mean to use these - I actually bought these for my husband to use for his fishing, but I’ve used them while cooking and preparing food and they work better than any steak cutting knife I own! They cut meat, fruit, veggies with ease and my hubby seems to love them as well. Great product.

This knife literally came in it’s sheath and was bent. It was not sharp and just isn’t what a serious angler would need. Please do yourself a favor and purchase a bubba knife and spend the extra money, which is exactly what I did.

Great knife, very flexible. Cleaned 300# of catfish. Didn’t need to sharpen until the en when I put the edge back on

I love the shape, sharpness, and utility of this knife. It has transformed the ugly chore of filleting fish onto something I like to do as much as I like catching and eating them. (Well, nearly so). Highest recommendation.

The knife made quick work of a mess of white bass. It's flexible and sharp. It looks different than the others but don't let that fool you - it does the job and is a great buy.
