I was excited at the possibilities this jig could bring. Seemed too shallow of an angle for a good toe. Make sure you have a good clamp, the block tends to walk.

Needs better directions for use.Once I figured it out, I was very pleased with the job.

Other reviews were correct that the bits dont fit well and the metal of the jig and bits becomes corroded quicky after just a few uses.

It would be worth spending the extra money for a better jig. 1st, this has very little surface area to get a proper clamp on. The jig wants to twist when in use. 2nd and most annoying, the metal drill bit guides are smaller than the accompanying drill bits. I had to ream them out just so the drill bits would fit/work. 3rd, either the internal threads in the jig block or the external threads of the drill bit guide did not match well. I had to use a vise and pliers just to essentially re-thread the jig block. I would recommend spending another $10-$20 on a better jig.. this one will go in the trash as soon as I'm done with it.

Excellent product. Used to make these floating nightstands.

There is a cheap one maybe a few dollars more expensive that has a built in clamp buy that one - even clamping this one into place it slips all over and I can't use it.

Parts are cheap and stripped out within minutes. The drill bits are as sharp as soft butter. A Pine 2x4 dulled them in 6 uses.Drill bits have far to much flex, and are the wrong type of tip for the work.

This bare minimum pocket jig that did not come with instructions. When you search for instructions online, you have to muddle through the more advanced pocket jig to find one video of the one person that uses this frequently enough to make a video. If you can’t toe nail a screw, I would suggest getting something better than this
