It’s hilarious when you play the prank on people who don’t know, we had fun in family gatherings.

This was going to be the most fun impulse buy I've made in a long time. Anticipation turned to disappointment when I opened the package, which boldly proclaimed, "Try Me!", and found the batteries were completely dead. Nothing, zip, nada, zilch. (Boy, they sure know how to push my buttons!)I decided that maybe I got a lemon and set out to exchange it, only to be informed that the product cannot be exchanged, only refunded. So I got a shipping label to send it back with the idea of buying another one. In the meantime, I read on the back that the included batteries are short term. You need to buy new AG13 batteries. I came to the conclusion that buying another one would most likely result in the same problem.I ordered new AG13 batteries, installed them the moment they arrived and started pushing a few buttons. Still nothing. I tested the new batteries on the meter and they are fully charged. The only way to get any sound to work was to squeeze the case while pushing a button so that contact could be made. (You should see my biceps.)I took the back off and inserted a small piece of foam to put pressure on the batteries. Still, some sounds worked, some didn't. None along the bottom row ever did work. Wait, there was one on the bottom row that worked every time - vomiting. Of all the sounds I liked, that was not one of them. Also, the sounds are loud enough to cause my cat to give me looks I hadn't seen before. (Well, at least SOMETHING is new.)

I own this and use it alot at work, makes coworkers laugh.FIRST OFF: it IS VERY LOUD and you can not adjust the volumeSECOND: About 1/2 the sounds are "cool", none of them suck but a few are kind of lame (pogo stick being one of them)The best sounds on here are the "charge" cool sounding trumpet although the rhythm is wrong but that makes it even a bit more "cheesier", "uh oh" is a good sound, the police siren is cool, the laugh is ok... theyre all ok / pretty good soundsIts worth $7.60. Its pretty durable and the battery life seems good because mine hasnt slowed down or gotten quieter yet.A few sounds youll remember from cartoons when you were a kid.OVERALL: good value and pretty fun, makes people laugh and that was why I bought it

got it for a friend I tested it out. batteries were dead. when I replaced it one of them was partially corroded. and I tore the piece of metel in the battery area. lucky it still work. but they should test it before they ship it out. if battery dad give another one that works. who knows how long they sit in warehouse. sounds are fair. some are good sounds some ok. over all 3-5

So my 3 kids each received one of these in Christmas stockings.They are loud (in a good way) and very clear digital recordings of funny sounds.When everyone began to attempt to outdo one another, and it got a bit crazy, we distracted the kids with another present.So we haven't suffered from overuse of these toys, but we're wary of it happening.It is really a fun gift and you'll think of plenty of ways to use it (on the phone, Skype, video recordings and more).This is a nice, very good quality gift.

This is a very useful toy and gimmick if you are doing stand up comedy or magic shows. It fits in your pocket, a microphone will make the effect greater if oyu are in a big crowd. Saw this advertised elsewhere and found it priced reasonably on Amazon. A fine value and delivery was very fast. So have some fun at the next gathering where you need a laough and sound effects complete the show. You can pay more fo this same item, so enjoy the equitable price you find here and have fun with it, it is up to your imagination.

The batteries only lasted a couple days. The sound is a bit distorted, but that might change once I order new batteries.

I got addicted to these things for a while, and bought many different ones. I have big hands and am pretty obnoxious so they get tossed around used on my broadcasts and videos, and get a bit of a shaking around. The cartoon (green) one, the red one and the Halloween (black) one have all held up, this one not so much. A few of the buttons became non-responsive pretty early on.Maybe it was one bad unit, maybe that's how they all are, I dont know. Fun but the batteries needed replacing very soon, and some nonresponsive buttons cause me to just give it 3 stars.

purchased this item in October as a stocking filler for my Grandsons Christmas present. On the day it didn't work, much to his disappointment. Thinking it needed batteries, I opened the battery compartment to find that 2 off the 3 batteries fitted had badly corroded, so much so, that the terminals in the toy had also corroded, making the toy useless. As I had shopped early for Christmas, I now find I am past the returns date and the item, although faulty, cannot be exchanged. I should have paid more attention to the comments of a previous reviewer who reported corroded batteries. Be warned. doesn't deserve the 1 star rating.

I bought this for my son's birthday. I have just tried it out and it doesn't work. I thought the batteries which came with it were flat so I changed them for new ones. However the product still fails to make any noises. I do not recommend this product. Sadly I am outside the window where I could send it back so that's that. Will definitely not be buying another like it!

Disappointed. It started playing up before I even wrapped it for my daughters birthday. Barely worked in two weeks since she received it. Now stopped working completely. Poor quality. I am returning it for a refund. Don't buy this one!

I should have read the reviews really! Bought in a it of a hurry.Sound quality is awful but its not worth my time or postage cost to send back!
