Perfect practice lock for beginner lock picker
I purchased this because I recently got into watching lockpicking lawyer videos and got myself a lockpicking kit.It was a great starter lock to learn how to pick - didn't take very long to work out how to pick security pins. Didn't need any experience at all!Would recommend for learning how to pick locks.Would not recommend if you want it as an actual security lock though.

Solid Lock
Firstly, I'd like to confirm that this definitely is a Master Lock 645EURD 45mm Brass Padlock with Brass Shackle. Secondly I'd like to say that after purchasing this I've never felt so secure in my entire life. I mainly use this to tie large loads together and keep my wife in the kitchen, although when I'm out and about I tend to wear it around my neck. Now lets get down to brass tacks/padlocks. It is a sturdy mechanism. Very satisfying to click shut and surprise surprise it doesn't open once it's locked. This is the clever part though, inside the packaging are two very shiny, golden coloured keys. If inserted at the right angle and rotated a sufficient amount these keys will actually open up the padlock so that it can be used again. This was the clincher for me.If that's not enough maybe the dual-locking levers, precision pin tumbler mechanism and lifetime guarantee will help you seal the deal. The Master Lock 645EURD has unlocked my heart and locked up my troubles!

The only totally weatherproof lock you can buy, it can not rust !
I have bought many padlocks over the years for various garden sheds. I live near the sea, in the damp north of England so everything rusts instantly. I tried heavy duty outdoor locks, steel with plastic covers - rusted. I tried heavy duty laminated steel, locks - rusted. I tried brass locks (with steel shackles) all rusted. But this is the only lock I've found that is totally brass including the shackle. hence it cannot rust or corrode. My first is still working perfectly well for several years, long after the others have rusted away. So now, I won't buy anything else for outdoor use.

A good lock.
Only four stars because I just refuse to get excited about a padlock. But it seems a good solid lock, good enough to slow down any potential thieves from our oil tank, slow but would not stop. Having watched a delivery guy break a huge solid lock off the back of his van when the keys had been left behind I realise no lock is big enough to stop someone determined to break one off. Of the locks I have bought recently this seems the meatiest.

Description lacks clear and full information on sizes.
Ordered a set of 2 thinking they would be 2 of the same size and shape. Annoyingly one is taller than the other. So only 1 is useful to me 🙄. Nothing in the discription tells you this but the image (which I had assumed was a reference photo) is actually what you get.

Decent padlock
This is a decent padlock. It has held up pretty well being exposed to the elements also. It comes with a sturdy set of keys unlike many other padlocks which can be flimsy. I have only given 5 stars because given a determined thief, I'm not sure the padlock would give enough resistance.to deter, but does a good enough job.

Great for lockpicking
I use this to practise lockpicking and it's great because it's very easy to learn on, it's inexpensive, and it's very nice to hold in your hand - it's solid, grippy and weighty. I wouldn't recommend use to lock up your expensive bicycle; it's much more a padlock for a shed with nothing particularly valuable inside but which you don't want people getting into so easily. It's a solid lock and feels as if it would be difficult to break open, it's just fairly easy to pick
