Living down in the deep woods of Hades (that would be parts of Florida for those not in the know), you can count on the summers being hot, humid and teeming with insects whose goal in life is to treat you as one giant all you can eat buffet. Even though I was born and raised here, I've always sought ways to reduce the sheer misery of being outside during the hottest parts of the year, which in Florida is pretty much most of the year. This summer I experimented with air cooling jackets. First, I tried the Makita (old style and bought mine for less than$100) with two fans in the back. Did a pretty credible job but only having fans in the back limited its ability to provide adequate ventilation around the front of the body. The new style solves that issue by putting fans in front as well as the back but there's no way I was about to spend over $200 on it or any such jacket with a similar price point.Enter the Vinmori Lightweight Jacket Fan Jacket. Two fans in front, two in the back, super lightweight with a hood, just add your own portable USB power source and voilà. Normally, for me, working outside in the Florida heat and humidity means sweating through my clothes to the point of being soaked from head to toe. The thought of wearing a jacket to work in the heat is way on the counter intuitive side, I have to say this thing actually works quite well.Where I sweat buckets previously, with the Vinmori jacket I could work for the same time and intensity in the same heat and humidity with significantly less sweat. Whereas my clothes would be soaked through without; with the jacket my shirt would be barely damp and I was less fatigued, which is a big deal.Caveats, Caveats, Caveats:Let's be real here; your results will vary. This is just my experience with this jacket. It tends to be more effective when the humidity is lower. Even still, I thought it worked well in the little slice of hades we call Florida.Don't expect it to work in the blazing Sun in the same level of comfort as if you were in air conditioned space. it's just not going to happen...One other thing: A note to the manufacturer - The hood: put a draw string in it.

The jacket has arrived. It’s been a few days old. The clothes are very comfortable. The size is right. The material is also very good. The style is very beautiful.
