WWE: Bad Blood 2004 [DVD]

Bad Blood, Hell in a Cell...
Chris Benoit as World Champ; great tag match with Edge and a stellar match with Kane. Whether or not Kane should have won may be moot (obviously), but maybe the Big Man did deserve a run during his mega-heel run after the mask came off--or before it...Other highlights--HIAC, obviously (HHH and HBK never have a bad match), divas match; Shelton and Orton. 5 star, raw only event. The Power of "Ruthless Aggression"....

Raw On Top
Raw is definitely superior to Smackdown. Bad Blood outperforms The Great American Bash by a mile in the 1st month ever of both brands doing a ppv at the same time.Batista vs Maven 3/10- basically a squash match on Heat. not much there.World Tag Team ChampionshipLa Resistance vs Chris Benoit & Edge 7/10- a good match to kick things off. the frenchmen wrestle their best match to date. good old school tag match.Tyson Tomko vs Chris Jericho 6/10- jericho carries this big stiff to a good match. he can make anyone look good.Intercontinental ChampionshipRandy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin 7.5/10- orton comes out with the mic spewing words. orton shows similarity to The Rock with his mic skills. a good match between 2 future stars of WWE. these 2 get better each time they wrestle.a must see segment backstage with Matt Hardy & Lita.Women's ChampionshipFatal Four WayVictoria vs Trish Stratus vs Lita vs Gail Kim 5/10- pretty good match for the women but way too short for a 4 way.Jonathan Coachman vs Eugene 8/10- gets a high rating based on the entertainment value. hilirious and worth seeing. no wrestling moves hardly at all.World Heavyweight ChampionshipChris Benoit vs Kane 7.5/10- this one has high and low points. Benoit was all ready tired from fighting but he manages to carry the big oaf to a good match. could have been better.Hell In A CellTriple HHH vs Shawn Michaels 8/10- a good h.i.a.c. but not a great one. this one has slow moments in it. it is very intense with a great ending. the longest cell match ever at 47 minutes.

Better than smackdown PPV at least..
There were 3 good matchs , benoit and kane ...they put a hell of a fight on the show compared to the stupid mickey mouse club confrontation between eugene and ..whatever his name is He doesnt deserve to be on the card ,rap has nothing to do with wrestling mr coach snoop..HBK vs HHH was a classic ,but how many classic did we see this year ? half a dozen billion ?? boring after all mr HHH ,you are really awful and everytime you come in a ppv you dont deserve the main event ,and please stop using "vitamins" you gonna die soon i tell youand finaly Orton ,at first sight i tought this man was bad but he's really BAD and disrepectful ,he reminds me of HBK at the beginning of his career as the sexy boy in 92 ,he performed poor matchs but made everytime an impact ,this man could be the future of wrestlingAccording to me this PPV is like the others ,boring and not worthy...just watch the simple life its more entertaining...

To hell and back!
Bad Blood 2004 is brought to us by Raw and like Backlash 2004 is a pretty solid PPV. Here are the matches:World Tag Team Championship MatchLa Resistence vs. Chris Benoit & Edge (3/5)Decent enough but Benoit's clearly saving himself for later. Listen for the terrible rendition of the Canadien national anthem from La Resistence that leads to a chorus of USA, only for the crowd to then go wild for two canadiens in Benoit and Edge. Americans can be so dumb!Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko (3/5)Another decent match, technique vs. brawn, Tomko could be one to watch.Intercontinental Championship MatchRandy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin (4/5)Watch out for Orton's pre-match interview that leads him to having to fight earlier than scheduled. Two great, young athletes provide a good match. Possible future greats.Fatal Four-Way for the Women's ChampionshipVictoria vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus (2/5)Apart from them being aesthetically more pleasing than two sweaty men going at it, is there anyone who genuinelly enjoys women's matches? The usual fare with Trish going for her fifth title.Eugene vs. Jonathan Coachman (4/5)Bloody funny stuff and Eugene proves that his time with the Rock has rubbed off on him!World Heavyweight Championship MatchChris Benoit vs. Kane (5/5)Great match, another example of technique vs. brawn but featuring two better examples of those skills.Hell in a Cell MatchShawn Michaels vs. Triple H (5/5)47 minutes long, bloody as hell and something for those missing TLC matches. Two fantastic athletes giving all they've got!Bad Blood is well worth it, especially if you like RAW PPVs. Roll on Vengeance!

Bad Blood 04 w/ Rebellion 2002 - a must buy
This is one of, if not THE BEST Pay-per veiw of the 2002-200 era (known as the post war era as it was before the war with TNA). This reveiw i hope will help.Bad Blood 2004Chris Benoit and Edge vs La Résistance (Sylvain Grenier and Robért Conway) - World Tag Titles - 7/10A really good openng. Benoit had two matvhes that night, this one and in the sub-main event against Kane for Chris' World Title. La Resistance really came forward and showed why they wore those Tag Titles. The match was a bit slow at 1st abut getting into it, I was throughly enjoyed it. As soon as Benoit would be a double champion again, Kane interfered and caused a dq. Since the titles can't change hands on a disqualification, La Resistance would retain, But afterwards Kane keeps going for Benoit's farm.Chris Jericho vs Tyson Tomko (with Trish Stratus) - 4.8/10A pretty much average match. Neither man was too excited to be there. The match is too high up for Tomko, who was still relatively new then, the match was too low for Jericho. Jericho really deserved the 5th match space. Barely above average in places and a predictable ending, Think about nexting.Randy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin - Intercontinental Championship - 8.5/10With the Intercontinental Championship on the line, its an incredibly good match. A good idea for putting it there, where Randy complains about the fans disrespect fo him and cuts an amazing promo in the ring. Shelton enters and starts the match since both of them are in wrestling attiree. Such an amazing match. High offense from Shelton, great submisssions from the talented Randy Orton. With the addition of Ric Flair, who always removes his Jacket for some bizare reason, and finishes with a great sneaky move by Orton. Many believe that Orton break-out match was Against Mick Foley at Backlash 2004 (to which i agree) this has to be considered one of his best in 2004.Trish Stratus vs Victoria vs Lita vs Gail Kim - Womens Championship - 3/10A typical women's match and whilst the fatal four way aspect does make it interesting its not really worth reveiwingEugene vs Jonathan Coachman - 4.2/10Really, REALLY WWE the 5th match is Eugene Vs The Coach. Only made good by the humurous antics of eugene, and the girl who brings the cookies for the coach. Enough said.Chris Benoit vs Kane - World Heavyweight Championship - 8.3/10A really good match. It has its good spots. The commentary is amusing as Jerry Lawler is incessant that Benoit can't apply the Crippler Crossface. The match is generally good and the ending is outstanding as Benoit gets a sneak pin on Kane, much to the dismay ogf both Kane and Lawler. It is outstanding for a sub-main event, but it still has its flaws. The match is slow and Kane and Benoit didn't really have much heat against eachother, and they haven't had any history worth mentioning. Overall, i say watch the match, but be prepared to let your mind wander.Triple H Vs Shawn Michaels - HELL IN A CELL - 9.6/10Easily the match of the night. So many factors were placed in the match. Whilst te first 5 minutes are a smidge slow, the match picks up from then to the end. Bloodier then there Last man Standing match at the 2004 Royal Rumble, this match has so much to offer. The history of HHH and HBK Was documented from there DX Debut in early 1997 to the match. There is everything in the match. Ladders, Tables, Trash Cans,Steel Chairs, You name it, they have it. With an outstanding ending of two Pedigrees, Hunter winning was neccesary for this match.Overall, an amazing DVD, plus with the addition of Rebellion 2002, this DVD is a must buy for any person who wants an dxciting unpredictable, and entertaining DVD.
