A little misleading in the description however, where it says it's 510 x 492 pixel resolution one moment, and then immediately after says it's an HD image (obviously not "HD" with 510 x 492 resolution, which is less than standard def), BUT, for the price, I guess you can't expect too much. The quality isn't spectacular but it's good enough, just a tad flicker-y, kind of like I'm watching an old VHS (see the day and night pics I added).The orientation of the guide lines is a little off, pointing a bit high on the screen, forcing me to point the camera farther downward than seems normal. When backing up towards another car or object, once that object is fully occupying the red part of the guide lines, you still have about 12 inches of space or so - use it wisely.Installation was easy enough but obviously your experience may vary depending on your car. My 2013 Malibu LS had a hole behind the license plate so I could fairly easily (after expanding it a bit) push the video and power cables through. I ran the video through the trunk all the way to my head unit. For power, I ran the black/ground wire to a nearby nut on the chassis within the trunk where some other cabling had been grounded and clamped that down. For the red wire, I spliced that into my nearby backup light wire (only active when car is in reverse), also within the trunk. For my Malibu, this backup light wire was a green+white wire within a cable harness leading into the trunk lid - be sure to leave enough slack in the red wire for it to move freely when the lid is opened and closed.Overall, decent camera quality, super easy installation, but it does feel a bit flimsy so, I hope it lasts.

This camera straight up only gave a clear picture for ONE DAY... thats all the next day i go to back out of my drive way and the image was so blurry i couldn’t make out anything whatsoever not even close. I got out to see if maybe some morning dew was on the lens.. nope no dew. I checked all the wires and they were all fine. Just a junk camera.. highly upset and disappointed...

I had to order this as the one came with my after market Android head unit could not be install on my 2001 corolla due to the way it designed. This camera was easy to installation with just the removal of the two screws for the license plate and screw the the camera in. nice and easy install. update 11 September 2020: just adding an update, to say that due to the camera lens housing extend out about half an inches by design, and base on some lic-plate installation on your vehicle the lens can get crack from other vehicle bumping in to your back bumper, so as a result the seal of the lens will break, and allowing rain water to get it. The camera still will work, you will see the crack on your screen, but still usable if it not to much cracks and if it rain it become total useless since water will be in the camera housing. So I had it replace with one with flush fits design. So I just take one star off for design that, as that design will not work well with all vehicle lic-plate installation.

USE CAUTION! Glad I tested this outside my vehicle before installing! Power and ground wires started smoking as soon as they were hooked up! Immediately cut power wire and the end melted off. There's no fuse on ANY wire... I should've known it was too cheap to be good quality. Returning what's left...

This camera does work but it must go OVER the license plate, which covers my state and registration year sticker (Indiana) and also shows the whole black mounting bar for the camera .The viewing angle is not as wide as it says (170 degrees).After 2 days, the green colors (grass and trees) went from green to gray/purple.I replaced the camera today with a different brand that was twice as expensive, BUT it actually goes behind the license plate and it was much better! The new camera claiming to have a 149 degree viewing angle is actually wider than this one that claims to be 170.Beware, most of the other reviews on this product are bogus and fake. Run this product through a fake review detector and the grade will be an F. However, THIS in an honest review.

Don't waste your money. The picture is washed out looking black and white. The video cable may work on a 2 seater but is quite short. The field of view is lousy and the guide lines for distance are off extremely. Look around and find a better quality camera.

Sobre el producto no tengo ningún problema, mi problema es con el servicio al cliente que se portaron hasta groseros cuando pregunte porque aún no había llegado mi paquete si estaba previsto a llegar el lunes 23, y me querían recompensar con 5 dólares cuando mi membresía es de 15 dólares, y si pago eso es porque confío que me llegaran mis productos a tiempo, cual fue la respuesta del representante si no los quieres no los tomes y listo, pero nunca resolvió mi problema, y por ende tengo que esperar a que llegue hasta que ellos quieran, peroooooo ellos si cobran la membrecía puntualitos

WELL worth the price. Easy install but the camera angle is nowhere near the advertised 170 deg. More like 100 deg. Instructions are worthless but the install is quite straight forward depending on what you are using for a screen. Supplied video cable was long enough for my crew cab short box, but it took some creative cable routing and there wasn't even an inch to spare.
