This has helped my garden stay tidy.
I bought 100m of this to wrap around a post in my garden that had been painted but was getting scratched to pieces. It has worked a treat. My cat uses this now instead of all the other places and it's much neater than shredded wood. Two months on and it's getting a bit grubby but I haven't tried cleaning it yet. I think the jetwash should sort it out.It was easy to handle and install - just a staple at the bottom and top - and has done the job. If you plan to do something similar be careful about how much you order; 100m seemed way too much but was enough to wrap two 4" posts to about 50cm.

Perfect for refurbishing scratched out posts.
Our Bengals have worked their way through the sisal rope scratching post wrapping on one of their car trees. I haven’t been able to replace the tree itself so thought that would use this instead. It’s just the job. I re-wrapped a 45cm x 10cm tube and used almost all 30m of this rope. Locked it in place with U-staples and a hot glue gun to secure the ends and jobs-a-good-un. Should last another few years. Now in daily use.

my cat absolutely hates this ans she refuses to scratch it
1, its too thick2, its too rough3 its too hard4, its too dark,5, its not long enough, basically only did 1 and a half of the shortish pols on my cat tree,in short, its not fit for the purpose for which I bought it for, which was re-lining my cat scratching tree posts, which is pretty much bog standard

Save your self a lot of money
We have 5 of these cat scratching post / activities post..at £ 70.00. A pop not cheap to replace. So with the help of my son we replaced 12 of the posts.. ( for my 4 girl's indoor cats )..we only did one set at first to see if it would work. So far cats very happy..we are now waiting for another 2 boxes of the 8mm thick rope to replace all the other posts. And save at lot of money

Almost Purr-fect
Bought for re-covering a 13"tall (33cm), 11" circumference (28cm) scratching post. The rope is the same thickness as the original rope. I doubt it's actually 10m (33ft) in length, tho I haven't measured it. It covers most of the post, my cat only uses the top section anyway. I'll be buying this again.

Cats avoiding it!
It is exactly as described, but none of my cats want to scratch on it. Maybe they are fussy, as the previous rope was a slightly thicker diameter. Also, 131ft may sound a lot but it doesn't go far. Pricey for what it is, and I should have just bought a new scratching post in hindsight.

great product
Replaced the rope on a cat tower it looks smarter than it did brand new. Just bear in mind 66ft is not that long, perhaps just use on a thin post, i ended up buying a much longer length for my 2 foot tower, this was used to patch repair an additional tower
