Overrated - Does not live up to its hype
I am mystified by the huge percentage of 5-star reviews of this thing. It's an OK antenna but has lots of issues and is definitely not any better than any other antenna from Walmart or wherever. The good:1. It picks up some channels2. What it does pick up comes in very clear and sharp3. It's very light and thin so you can put it in a window or under a component4. The cord from TV to antenna is longThe bad:1. It's cheaply made. It was shockingly difficult to get the connector to thread on to the coax connector of the TV, and the cable, while long, is very thin2. It uses a booster powered by USB, but does not come with a USB power plug. Sure, I have several. So do you, probably. But why does it not come with a needed component? It has the cable (from standard USB to a round connector) but no wall plug. Odd.3. In an area where my other antennas can pick up 47 channels, this picks up 21.4. The booster makes it WORSE. I have seen this mentioned in other reviews. So, I guess it doesn't need that wall plug after all. I added the booster (again, a huge pain to get these cheap connectors to screw on) and it received the channels worse or not at all, although the scan somehow found more channels than without the booster. However, after the scan, then I could not view any channels. Just "no signal". Again, odd.Recommendation: scan with the booster so it finds all the channels it can, then remove the booster so you can actually watch the channels. This worked for me.Overall I'd say this thing is "meh". It picks up some channels. It does NOT have the long range advertised. It is NOT any better than any other $20 antenna I own; in fact it's worse. It was VERY hard to connect, but you won't need to do that more than once (or twice, if you use the booster to scan) so you may not care.I won't return this, since it sorta/kinda works, and is very small and light, and I just want it as a backup in case the cable goes out. But, if you plan to cut your cable cord, and need an antenna for every day, I cannot recommend this.

Ad is very deceving
The build quality is very poor. The AD states 50 to 100 mile range. Once opening the package, all documentation states 25 to 50 miles, powered. This is half of what the add on Amazon says. I would not purchase this produce again. A waste of $20. Even at a sale price this is to high. False Advertising!!!!

The absolute pure glee of not paying cable
Ok we cut the cord on out $200+ per month cable and internet bill, just for the principle of it really, and part of it was this amazing find. No kidding less than 4 minutes from box opening >> hand screw in the cable to back of TV, and just lay flat on shelf for us at least for great reception, maybe because of where we live. We have a TCL Roku and the first option is "Antenna" when you turn it on. Click on that and you're watching your local TV. Not all of them but we're getting CBS, ABC, PBS. Crystal clear 1080HD reception on a few of our local TV channels - just what we wanted. And we upgraded out wireless to 150mbps at $39 a month, so we just stream the rest, including Amazon Prime channels, etc., and pay for only what we want. Cheers you won't be disappointed.

Yes you can get rid of cable.
I thought receiving local television stations was only possible with cable or via Directv. My last attempt at OTA was with a $300 roof mounted system that included a signal amplifier and a lot of cable that didn’t provide any service. The PACOSO system is legit. I was able to tune in all the available local stations without any issues. I connected the antenna and had it sitting on a table next to my recliner. I let the television auto tune the stations. They all came in with pristine clarity and uncompressed audio. I didn’t have to use the included line amplifier. I’ll be getting a couple more at this price. Yes cutting the cable.

Did not work
I live outside NYC, 28 miles from the main metro NY transmitters on Long Island which is relatively flat terrain. Typically an un-amplified antenna can receive 30 or more channels and subchannels. I tried two of these antennas, the first picked up 2 un-amplified and 6 with the amplifier. The second picked up 6 with or without the amplifier. Simply didn't work.

My smart TV by Vizeo doesn't work with this
My Video tv can't use this at all. Tried with different attachments it came with did not matter. I wouldn't buy this again. Noticing the tv sale of this type of antenna has not continued either.

TV antenna
I had and old rabbit ears got about 6 channels for 3 years . Put this up in the window so could run to my TV and now get around 30. Makes a good present for people that can't afford cable. I watch it all the time. Jay

Distance
Well the directions say this gets up to 50 miles not 100 amplified. I am getting at top distance 54 miles even with it outside. 7 channels with out amp 10 with. My neighbor gets 17 at 75 miles distance.
