2-in-1 Folding Trash Grabber Pick-Up Grabber Reacher Tool

We've had a couple of the ones from Walmart and I must say this has to be a cheapo knock off version. Extremely flimsy, especially the joint where it folds. It was simply packaged in a rough looking plastic bag with some barcode and stuff taped onto the bag, so I'm pretty sure this was used or some kind of returned item. At the spot where it should bend to fold, it was also so loose that it wobbled side to side. I have serious doubts this product will work more than a use or two. We tried to stablize it by taping wood strips to either side so we'll see how well that works. It's simply not worth the effort of trying to return it. Also the handle and trigger (I guess you'd call it?) are shorter than the others we have owned. All of your fingers won't fit on it which sounds minor but actually makes holding and using it a bit awkward. Not unusable for small jobs but if you are using it like us, continually picking up things by the dozens at a time it's going to get uncomfortable. I would definately not buy this again.

This grabber is pricier then some of the other models you can get but it is the best one I've ever used! The round rubber ends pick up the largest items or very tiny items, too, and the fact that it locks in place to reach a long distance and folds up not taking up much storage space is a huge plus. It also allows you to pick up things that are pretty heavy. The other grabbers I have can only pick up very small, lightweight items and they are slippery, too. The rubber on this grabber holds the item in place so it doesn't spin around or fall out of its grasp. Great item for anyone who needs a little help reaching the top shelf or the floor.

I bought this for my kids to help clean up around the neighborhood. I choose it bc of the low price and Prime shipping.Pros: Kids love it, low price, works great for picking up cigarette butts and other small pieces of litterCons: One kid drug it on the ground despite multiple warnings not to do so...one of the rubber suction cups fell off making it unusable. But!! I was able to fix it with no problem other than kid crying! So even though it is a little bit flimsy, I still recommend it.

All this piece of crap is (and you know what I want to say) is a waste of money. It locks when you don't want it to and won't if you do. It either will fold up or it won't. The only accurate description is "light weight" Don't waste either your time or money. Mine is in today's trash, so I need to find a better made grabber. Not Happy!

The folding aspect makes sense - (when you squeeze the grabbing trigger it actually straightens out more securely), and it helps portability. I find it very useful for getting all kinds of stuff, and removes the unnecessary bending that can take a toll on knees or any other body part that doesn't cope well with bending....which makes it very helpful for my mom. My only gripe is the locking mechanism which does not seem to be user-friendly - otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

The grabbers are great and not just for grabbing trash,I use them for just about everything;closing shutters, grabbing things on shelves, moving items. It is great when the grand child comes over as a help to keep her things picked up. I've even got her using the grabber to pick up her toys and things. I always take one when we travel and it comes in handy trying to reach things in the rear of the vehicle. I have a grabber in many rooms of the house. Very handy and the one that can be folded is great.

I love the idea of this little tool and I bought it because it folds. The reviews indicated it is not the sturdiest, but works. However, the round pieces on the end broke loose on first use. I've tried fixing it, but it breaks apart every time. A disappointing purchase. :(

We have bought two of these. We use them to grab chicken eggs when we collect them. Gentle enough to do the job without damaging the eggs. Does not hold up for more than a few months, but for the price it is fine and there seems to be nothing better for our purpose.
