Tons of Base super easy Bluetooth connection
This TEWELL sound bar & subwoofer with wires. Is it good functioning Bluetooth speaker easy connection. I took away 1 star. Because it seemed like the unit I received had been opened before they were fingerprints on the soundbar and the batteries that go into remote control were completely dead. And the Box had seemed to be re-taped with some blue tape over the original tape when I received it. I had to use different batteries that I had at the house. Also the instructions leave a lot to be desired. luckily it's pretty straightforward plug in the wires and either use a Bluetooth connection Optical or auxiliary cord. Now the auxiliary cord does work if you have a headphone jack on your TV which I do, and it works very well when plugged into the headphone jack. But when I plugged it into the actual auxiliary plug of my TV it would not work for some reason. I also used it on Bluetooth mode which was super easy and very clear actually my preferred way to use it it's great for a home stereo speaker system super loud has EQ button on the remote control the switch between I think it's five different selections could be 6 don't quote me on this. Jazz seems to have the most Bass. All the wires are made of good quality materials and all around the whole unit is built that way only thing I would criticize would be the length of the auxiliary cord if someone would need that it would be too short in my opinion it's only about three and a half feet long but is made out of a high-quality wrapped cord. Besides that all in all for the price this is a very good unit has tons of Base great for watching movies also a awesome home stereo system if you want to use it that way through Bluetooth I live in a duplex I seem like it'd be too loud to have up all the time without my neighbor getting upset. The mote control makes it very easy to use putting up the volume switching between modes and using the EQ function. One of the thing I should mention when using this unit only the Soundbar and subwoofer will put out sound the speakers on your TV I could not get them to work at the same time as the Soundbar and subwoofer but they were loud enough that there was no need to have additional speakers. I hope this review helps anybody considering purchasing this unit I tried to give as much detail as I can manage. And I included a bunch of photos there is no need to purchase the assembly it's basic non-existent plug in the wires where it's supposed to go labeled very clearly anybody could do it.

Good sound for the money but bring your own cables
I bought this system for use with a smaller TV and also to supplement the Echo Dot we have in the room. The dimentions are perfect for the space. The sound is good for the money, and I like the fact that the input selection is voiced. However, there are some things that compromise the sound bar's usability. At first I thought I had a defective unit, as I could not get any sound through the supplied 3.5mm cord whether I plugged it into the TV or into the Echo. In fact, I could not get any device I had handy to transmit sound over that cord. With it's soft coating, it almost seems like a prop instead of an accessory you're actually supposed to use. When I connected it using a cord I already had, it worked fine. The system immediately recognized that i had plugged in the cord and voiced "Aux mode," though it pronounced it "O mode." I haven't tried the optical cable that also ships in the box yet. It would be nice to hard wire both the Echo and the TV into the soundbar. The system would automatically switch to the device that is producing sound. Input switching does not cycle among the 3 inputs, but only between Bluetooth and whichever of the other two inputs was used last. I'll explain why I haven't gone that route below. Bluetooth to the Dot does work, but if you leave it in Bluetooth mode without using it, it will eventually go into standby and will not respond to the other inputs until you switch back to Aux/Optical mode. First, a note about the sub. Again I thought I had a dud, as at first I could get no sound from it. I eventually figured out that I had inserted the wires too far into the clamps on the back of the unit so that they were not making a connection. This is probably not uncommon for this type of connection but it's the first time I've had the problem. Once I got that fixed I was pleasantly surprised by the sound, despite the sub being unpowered. Then there's the remote. The layout is simple and easy to figure out without recourse to the instruction sheet that comes with the system, which is very basic. The problem is it works very poorly. I don't know exactly where the IR port is located on the bar, but I cannot get it to work unless I'm standing no more than at most 2 or 3 feet away and sometimes nearly on top of the bar. It will never work from the location where we need it. Since one has to use the volume control for the soundbar if it is connected through the optical port, I haven't even tried that. For this reason alone I would not buy this again, which is a shame, because it should be the perfect solution for our setup. As it is, we primarily use it when watching TV and it performs well. Using my 3.5mm cable we can use the TV remote to control the volume. The unit will wake up when sound begins to play, and it doesn't have the annoying habit of some sound systems of immediately cutting out almost the instant sound stops playing. This is important for people who use screen reader software like VoiceView to navigate content on the TV screen. One helpful tip if you do want to use this to accessorize your Echo. This would be true of any external speaker. Don't put the Echo too close to the speaker. It will drown out your voice and Alexa will not respond to your commands.

Perfect Sound for a Small Space
I am still on the fence about this sound bar.. The sound quality is excellent yet the quanitity is just not there. I wish there was a little more bass from this unit, but what should I honestly expect from such a small set up?I have the optical line ran into the back of my TV and the aux line plugged into an Alexa speaker nearby. This means I can use the speaker as a true sound bar, an amplifier for my Alexa, and as a bluetooth speaker. You do have to change the imput depending on how you want to use the speaker, but I think it is worth the price!

Great Value for the Price
This home theater bluetooth setup is nice. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it an 8.5 overall. For the price, the fact that you get a subwoofer with it is really amazing. I would say the sound quality is quite nice, but it definitely isn't going to be up to par with a big name one. The sub is ok, but definitely not earth shattering. If you are on a budget and want a nice sound system, go for it. If you have at least $200 (maybe $175) in your budget and want as best as you can get, then there is no doubt a Yamaha, Samsung, Sony etc would be better. If you are on a tight budget, go ahead and get this with confidence.

Good sound at an affordable price !
Love this 2.1 sound bar plus subwoofer. I Was a lil sceptical when I was making the purchase. I currently have a vizio sound bar that i love and didn't think this would come close to it. Boy was i wrong ! This thing rocks and was half the price of my vizio sound bar and woofer what a pleasant surprise. This will be perfect for my basement. Good clear sound with just enough bass and no distortion. Easily connect via bluetooth to your phone to ! I really love it !
