Do you REALLY want to spend big bucks on a breacher barrel? This is our model designed specifically for the Mossberg 500A 12 gauge that will cost effectively allow you a standoff / breaching option as well as an aggressive, non-lethal deterrent. This "Pumkin Puncher" will also fit the Mossberg Maverick 88 and similar shotguns with a 1" steel take-down screw on the front of the mag tube. This model, the M500-S-12, is designed to fit a 12 gauge shotgun with an EQUAL LENGTH barrel to mag tube ratio, such as commonly found on Mossberg 500's with a 20" barrel. (If you have an 18.5" barrel, please see our M500-L-12) This M500-S-12 has an OAL of 2.630 with a standoff length, measured from the face of the TDS to the ends of the teeth, of 2.247. The major OD is 1.250. All dimensions are approximate. If you have a take down screw that is approximately 1/4" in thickness, you would need to replace it with a newer, 3/8" thick TDS from Mossberg or Uncle Mikes... The "Pumkin Puncher" is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and as such, machining marks may be present on some items. They are anodized flat black. Our brand is laser etched on the device but can be camouflaged with a black marker. Each unit will come with all assembly hardware, including a 1.0 ml package of VC3 Threadmate, and installation instructions. Our devices simply sleeve your Take Down Screw, and attach with included hardware. A very easy install!
