Laptop Keyboard Cover (KLF15BLK)

I work from home and use my laptop with two slaved monitors. While I don't have kids, I do have a cat who loves to lay on my laptop and occasionally takes control of the keyboard. The Kid Lid works great and Gabby can now lay on my laptop while I get some work done.

I use this to keep my cat from touching the keys of my laptop which I use with an external keyboard/mouse. My cat is 6 lbs but still manages to push keys when it walks on the guard. I put another, more sturdy thing on top of that which does the trick. Nevertheless, it is good enough for my needs.

I have a MacBook Air and this doesn’t fit very well on the keyboard. The strapIs too far forward on the board and doesn’t fit snug over our key board. So our little one still lifts this up and gets to the keys

Don't ask how, it just works.. I use it to keep my gaming laptop open and cool while I play games, and safe from my cats.

My use for KidLid comes from different angles than having small children. I have cats! I love my KidLid! If I need to step away from my desk, (love the fold up!), I no longer have a heat seeking cat disrupting viewing or work when he flop lounges across "his" keyboard. He also walks across the keyboard and KidLid holds his weight to continue working without disruption. If I need the keyboard, I can work without impediment but replace the (Pink fold-up 15 inch) lid if my "helper" returns. He does not disrupt videos or communications any more.I also have a serious chronic illness requiring bed rest at home, and sometimes hospitalization. I can watch TV, videos, or Skype from bed without worry. When in hospital, there's such limited surface within my ability to reach safely from my bed. My KidLid helps maximize limited surface space. KidLid also protects the keyboard from spills which have ruined devices in past.
