The product listing contains lots of false info. This is NOT an HD 30mp camera - according to the actual box it is a 2mp 640x480 camera. I am HIGHLY skeptical about the 1000x zoom claim. If your purpose is to stick this on your hand to see your fingerprint, or look at an insect up close, it is usable as a toy. If you are hoping that $17 could bring you a decent quality image, keep hoping. The included software wouldn't work on my mac, but I was able to use the plugable microscope software to use it. I was hoping to use this to view circuit boards in detail, but it's useless for that. In hindsight, some of the reviews for this product seem to be shills. Buyer beware.

I bought this just for sh*ts and giggles when I had a lot of ingrown hairs after using an epilator. I generally find it useful, but just only barely so. It has a fixed camera. So you have to spin it around in order to see things at the right angle. I've been using it mainly on my legs, so I've been holding it. The stand I found almost useless. Its very flimsy, and it didn't focus well from so far away.Overall, I'd say its a decent STARTER, so maybe for a curious kid. Otherwise, I actually remembered to review it while searching for a new one.

I could not install software. My computer anti-virus software alerted me to two viruses when I started the installation. The website given in the paper instructions was bogus. The product insert shows "scope" image quality was far from 1000x. See my photos for more product problems.

Purchased this item to use in place of a magnifying glass when working on small projects however, I was VERY disappointed. I was never able to actually use it because I don't have an optical drive in any of my computers and going to the website to download drivers/program that instructions direct you to results in downloading a virus (I'd assume same outcome with the disc). I quickly returned this item for a refund. Don't waste your time and money!

It was not compatible with windows 10. I would've been happy if it worked on my phone but it didn't do that either. Very fustrating.

Less than a mega pixel then you install the driver and the software digitally enlarges to the high res size but without the actual high resolution. Buy something better, returning.

The lens is warped and distorts the image quality. No instructions included. Not at all what I expected in regards to ease of use and quality of image. Bummer. I was so excited about this purchase.

I use a MacBook and it doesn't seem to be totally compatible. The zoom button no longer works after their software update, it's now controlled from the computer application, but I cannot seem to find it.
