I am very pleased with this callus remover. i had seem similar products in stores but they were way more expensive. I decided to give this one a try and I am glad I did. I have eczema which leaves my feet very damaged with flakes everywhere. This doesn't cure it but it certainly provides a relief to the tough skin on my feet. It leaves it very smooth and I have used it for a month and didn't have to change battery or roller head. I ended up buying and extra one for my mom, and after that now everybody in my family is using it.If you press it too hard you may notice it loses speed, but this is not a bad thing, since this is not meant to be a power tool and you could burn your skin if you apply too much pressure at regular speed.

Maybe I just have worse calluses than I thought, but it seems to take forever to notice much improvement in the appearance/feel of my feet. Can literally use this tool for 15 minutes and still feel like I've got a lot of rough skin left.

I bought this for my 86 year old mother who complained about dry skin on her feet. It seemed to work well at first (just bought this in mid January). It lasted all of 2 1/2 months. The light still comes on as if it's charging but it won't come on when the button is pushed. It seems cheap. No wonder the return time was short. I had bought a different brand for myself and guess I should have bought another one for my mother.Guess I got what I paid for.

Received the item promptly. It works great and is easy to use. The thick callus and ridges on my feet are much better only after using 2 times. As others mentioned be careful not to over do it or you could find it painful. I would have given 5 stars but I had to return the 1st one due to the clip on the battery cover broke (poor design?)

Very excited when it arrived. Easy to assemble. Worked well then STOPPED. Oh, must be the batteries? No. I had used new batteries, so inserted another pair of new batteries, it wasn't that either. It just stopped working. If you need to take care of your feet for one day for a special occasion then its great, but don't purchase this is you want a reliable repeat user. I now have to go through the inconvenience of sending it back.

I didn't believe it would work on the heels and soles of my feet, but it did!!! I had moderate calluses on my feet which suddenly began to get worse. The soles of my feet itched, the calluses turned white or yellow and my heels and sides of my soles began to split. I have experienced this in the summertime, but this happened during the winter when I wear closed shoes. Some of the splits were quite deep and it hurt to walk. My dermatologist suggested I purchase a battery operated foot sander and prescribed Econazole Nitrate Cream 1% which softens the calluses. I used the prescription cream twice daily for several days and then, after bathing and drying my feet well I started using this callus remover. I sat on the edge of the bath tub and, with my feet over the tub, I sanded the affected areas carefully a couple of times a week. The dead skin buffed off and fell into the tub. Afterward I would rinse and dry my feet and apply either more Nitrate cream or the moisturizing Aveno Skin Repair Cream as she directed. I purchased several pairs of thin cotton night socks to keep the cream from staining the sheets. During the day I wore tennis shoes and socks or an old pair of slippers I didn't care about (they get a bit stained). I had to apply some Neosporin ointment and large bandaids on some of the deep splits so that they would heal. It took about a month, but my feet are looking and feeling much better. Incidentally, I also purchased extra callus sander refills because they do wear out, especially at first.

My friend has the as-seen-on-tv version of this that was about twice as expensive so I went to Amazon to research it and stumbled upon this version. Read the reviews carefully and liked the price much better so thought I'd give it a shot. It works absolutely perfectly. Crazy quick and easy to use and cracked, dry skin is gone. If anything is caution anyone to go slow and not overdo it. I also bought the replacement rollers and though they came separately they fit underneath the plastic tray the device comes in for storage.
