They both liked the look and colors of the JETech cases and I was satisfied with the previous reviews, the appearance of quality, and most importantly, its apparent ability to protect against all forms of teenage neglect, stupidity, inconsideration, lack of more than 10 seconds of foresight, etc. The cases arrived fast, and I mean FAST. With an Amazon Prime account I expected the usual two days--these were sitting on the doorstep around lunchtime the next day. When rapidly torn from their packages and applied to said phones, their fit was on par with the descriptions from other reviewers--nice and cozy, but easily put on and taken off as needed without buggering up the screen saver. The cases are unique and beautiful. I've not seen another leather case on the market, and these are as colorful as the pictures and actually very sweet looking--even I'm impressed, and I'm old, grumpy, and jaded. The phones have passed my initial inspection for providing an ample degree of protection. I don't expect they are going to prevent the phone from getting run over or getting dropped from the window, but we imagine those scenarios to fall into the 1% group and won't lose much sleep over it. Chargers fit fine--even the super, heavy-duty chargers from The Friendly Swede fit once I clipped a little plastic from the edges of the cable--just a mite-- and all was well. My daughter had one pair of $4 headphones that wouldn't work--we snagged another $4 pair and they work just fine. All is well in the household and in the universe of my teenage daughters for the time being and they're showing their new cases off to everyone, and most importantly, they've quit bugging me for new cases, and EVEN for new phones. I switched to a flatter, smaller purse and I needed a slim phone case. This case works perfectly! There's a tight fit around my phone, and I've dropped it twice since putting on this case - no damage to my phone. I also like the look of the case. It's higher quality than a lot of the cheap cases that are being sold these days.I read at least one review that said the charger didn't fit while the case is on. That's only true for the thicker Apple 4S chargers. I think those are the original chargers that came with Apple products. The new chargers have a thinner piece that plugs into the 4S iPhone.The only drawback is the sleep mode button and volume buttons are a little difficult to press. I sometimes have to press them 2-3 times to put my phone to sleep or adjust the volume. That's not a deal breaker for me though.
