HoofCast Orthopedic Casting Tape for Horses, 2 inch 5 cm Roll

This cast is easily applied, seems to have a bit more resin, and complements the strength of the hoof. The durability seems to be excellent on horses used on arena and track surfaces. Excellent product!

I thought this was similar to equicast but it’s not. The description says “no special preparation is required prior to application, simply clean the hoof of loose dirt and exfoliation then apply” but this is misleading because the application requires glue and plastic wrap. I didn’t realize this until after I attempted to apply it and it didn’t work and I went to their website and found the instructions. The description should advise of this or at least put instructions in the packaging. I had to throw it away. What a waste.
