9.5" Large Stipples Made Easy Pattern

Have ordered this item twice from seller. will buy again. adhesive was sturdy & stayed in place while quilting but was easily removed after quilting (exactly as it should). I would call this meandering as opposed to stippling but that's just me. Pattern is large. This was my first time quilting on my home machine. Would not have attempted it without this product.

These patterns are more trouble than they are worth. If you are trying to learn how to free-motion quilt, my suggestion would be to just watch some videos or buy a book that teaches you and then practice, practice, practice.

I am an avid quilter and an avid reader. I have taken 3 free motion quilting courses and for the life of me, I am left handed and cannot get my feet and hands to coordinate together. HOWEVER, STIPPLES MADE EASY, has solved the problem for me. I love using it as no one will be the wiser if the pattern is off, the quilting looks great (after I played around with stitch size) and no one knows the difference. I have donated many quilts to Project Linus, Comfort quilts and also given many away as gifts to our friends' grandchildren, our grandchildren, etc. This beats giving it out to quilt and spending lots of money. The only downside is it takes time to get the paper off but in the long run it is worth it. Make sure you don't leave the tape on too long. I only put the paper on for what I am going to quilt in one sitting. If I need more than one sitting, I don't put it on till I am ready to sit down and do another row. It is relaxing and you are your own boss...deciding how much to quilt at each sitting. Great product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do free motion without the hassle.

Great pattern for stippling, especially for the non free motion stitchers! It would be nice if it came in a wider rool

I have been using these patterns for years with very good results. I have never had problems with the adhesive not sticking, in fact, I usually reposition them many times to get the spacing for borders just right and they always stick back down. The stipple pattern is a great learning tool and by now, I could stipple without the paper but I have found stitching on the paper prevents the layers from shifting as you sew and you don't end up pushing fabric as you quilt, which results in puckers, as long as you have done a good job of thread basting your layers together. Using the patterns as a guide, my stipple is evenly spaced and I don't end up working myself into a corner and the needle popping through the paper helps me with my rhythm and stitch length. Removing the paper is not my favorite part but I do it while watching tv and it goes quickly. I love these patterns and highly recommend them!

It was helpful for me to read the tutorial on the Quilting Made Easy web site. My quilting came out pretty good for a beginner and cost way less than if I had sent it out to be quilted. I actually didn't mind tearing the paper away, just did it while watching tv. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs help with quilting their tops and wants to save money.
