All-Natural Aloe Vera Gel, 8 fl oz. - No Harsh Chemicals - 100% Pure

Purchased and compared three brands of aloe gel to see which one worked best for me. The purpose was to find a good, pure, aloe gel that I could use as a daily moisturizer and to relieve my skin after an active day in the sun. The three brands where Tropical Sands, Lilly of the Desert, and Nature Sense. I've been using Lily of the Desert for years and really like it, but wanted to see what else was out there.At first I was not impressed by Tropical Sands Gel. It is really slimy and it seemed like no matter how little I used I was trying to find available skin to rub off the excess. I read that it is also good for the hair and can be used as a styling gel. So, on to the hair the excess went. It worked great. My hair stayed styled and really soft. And, although the gel when on the skin slimy, it dried nicely and left a great feel on the skin.Tropical Sands has become my new favorite and I recommend it to anyone who wants to use a natural lotion for their skin and hair.

I love this Aloe Vera gel! Its soothing and very good quality. This is the only brand I buy.

3.5 stars. Goes on sticky and takes awhile to massage in for it to absorb. Slight "sour" undertone probably from Potassium Sorbate. Only a few applications, it seemed to heal my skin rashes that had persisted for weeks. However, it did nothing for the dry patches on my face.

Purchased as an ingredient to use in homemade hand santizer along with NOW Essential Oils and found this to be a high quality Pure Aloe Vera Gel without all the fillers. Found it a bit thick for this application, so I diluted it a bit with Purified Water and was able to get the perfect consistency.I originally purchased one bottle of this product and found it worked so well that I purchased a two bottle set. Plan on using this product exclusively for the homemade application as long as they don't increase the price exponentially.Note: This is based on my independent review. I purchased this product. Bought this to make a hand sanitizer and it does not mix with alcohol. For other purposes, I believe it would be fine.

I am very fair skinned and even attempted to tan before going to Mexico, I still burned. This did nothing at all for the burn. I ended up buying $17 aloe in Mexico and that stuff worked like magic. I suggest just buying it when you are there even though it cost more.

I seem to have developed a case of Psoriasis on my face. This product works very well. It is very light and completely non-greasy. It goes on smooth and drys very quickly so you need to rub it into your skin very fast. I have not had any dry flaking skin since using it. It doesn't take much. A bead on the tip of my finger is enough to cover my face and my skin remains smooth and moist the entire day. So this bottle will last a good while.

This is about as pure an aloe that you can get and it feels as cooling and as good as the real thing. When we relocated, I tried to bring my aloe plants with - but they did not survive the move. I was devastated because I got so accustomed to using aloe gel for so many things. I shopped all around for different kinds of aloe and none of them made me happy until I found this one... Until I grow a new aloe plant, this is the only substitute I will use.
