Colossus METAL 3.5CH RC Helicopter (Worlds Largest Helicopter)

This isn't one of those tiny helicopters that could land in the palm of your hand. This bad boy is BIG. My son loved how big it was. We've got him those smaller helicopters, and while he enjoyed them, the Colossus had him jumping up and down upon tearing off the wrapping paper (just the seeing giant box all wrapped up made him crazy wondering what could be in a box that large). It was so big that once the paper was off, he was a little overwhelmed at the size of this. I helped him take it out of the box and prep it for it's maiden flight. I had to show him how to handle a 'copter this size, but he got the hang of it quickly and soon enough he had mastered the controls and had it airborne and was maneuvering around trees (and people). My son loves this toy, not just because of the size, but because it actually flies.

This one needs to go back to the drawing board. It is way too tail heavy. Wants to flip over and crash. No throttle from mid throttle on up .More importantly, you cannot get replacement parts because they are all back ordered. Broke the tail motor,,balance bar, and canopy.This is NOT ready to fly as stated on the box. I have had two of these and both crashed. Do NOT waste your money on this one.

I bought this knowing it was the biggest RC Helicopter out there so I could show it off. I love it so far, I could tell the helicopter was made with extreme detail and built very well and tough as soon as I opened it. If you're new to RC helicopters or never used them before, there are no problems as this bad boy is very easy to fly and control and get the hang of. It is so strong and durable that it doesn't break when it crashes into heavy and sharp objects. I also love the LED lights.

If the name didn't give it away, and you happened to miss it in the description… THIS THING IS BIG! Like pick up a small child big, or use it to trim the hedges big. Normally you'd think something of this magnitude would be a bear to control; not so with the Colossus. It's a gentle giant just waiting to bring hours of joy and flying pleasure. With it's gyroscope to help keep it stable and durable metal construction (plastic is for little toys) this helicopter is a breeze to fly and won't break if you bring it in hard.(Please note: no small children were harmed in the writing of this review; in fact several were delighted and awed.)

From Worldtech Toys comes the Colossus RC helicopter, boasted as the world's largest RC copter at 47 inches in length. It has a full metal body, rather than polymer. It isn't as fast as other RC helicopters and it can take a minute to get into the air, but it is quite a beast once it's cruising. Thanks to its coaxial rotor is has great stability in the air. It has LED lights on the side and tail so you can fly at night, which is pretty sweet.

This thing is sweet. Well worth what I paid for it. I started flying with the smaller models first. Just so I can get the hang of flying. It only took me a couple of days. Then I saw this thing. I had to have it. When I brought this monster out to where I fly. ( it's a bunch of us out in a HUGE field) everybody was interested and amazed how well it operated. If only they can make it more silent like a stealth helo!! I can't wait until they make a military replica! Great product!

This is such a stable helicopter for such a big size and it flies very well and efficiently! The controls are easy to use and figure out, even for little hands! Seriously this thing is so much fun. It's usually bigger than the kid you buy it for which gets them SO EXCITED, which I love to see!! Really fun toy that totally stole the show at my cousin's birthday party! His dad loves to play with it, too :)
