HARBOR PRODUCTS RT2000303604USZ 2" x 36' Clear Rescue Tape

I have a sailboat and purchased Rescue Tape to wrap the Mast boot to stop leaks during rain storms. Works great! I previously used the "Universal mast boot" and tried to cut it to size to fit... Did not work and just was a waste of money. With Rescue Tape you can customize the boot size. It also comes in two different sizes. I bought the 2 in and the 1 in to use to use for other repairs/projects around the boat. The Rescue Tape from Harbor products arrived quickly in the mail and was a much cheaper price than places like West Marine. Yay no leaks!

This is basically a must have for any outdoors kit. Used creatively, it can patch up just about anything, yourself included if you get a bad gash out in the back country. Use it to do an emergency waterproof on the fly, patch up ripped or broken whatever, engineer yourself an o-ring or seal... I think you get it.

I've ordered rescue tape in the smaller size and was totally sold on the product. After all it fixed a leak in my sink trash disposal that is still working for many months. But the contrast between this product and the 3M (03625) 1" x 6' Wrap and Repair Silicone Tape are extreme. These are two completely different products - one from 3M and the other from Harbor products. This stuff is made by Harbor Products. The 3M "1 w 6' wrap was so stretchy I never hit the limit. Never had any problem with the self-stick once I got the stretch going.This stuff on the other hand...If I try to stretch it more than 2x, it breaks. Yes. How can I believe it's good to yadda yadda PSI if I can muscle it with my puny arm strength?It doesn't stick well. Here I am, wrapping and wrapping it tight, hoping to constrict it tight around a hard piece of plastic and it just slides on the plastic?After reviewing the manufacturer's claims for Harbor Products I can state with confidence, there is enough hot air there to float us all to the merry old land of Oz. 3M on the other hand simply claims to work well and it blows this product out of the water.As other reviewers have observed, unlike other versions of this product1) There is no manufacturer's label anywhere.2) It is packed in a plastic baggie, not those unbreakable plastic & cardboard podsOh yeah. I've never found it useful for anything. Tried it on a hose and it just plain leaked. That is as simple as it gets.

I got the clear Rescue Tape and it's amazing! Stretches well and adheres to itself very, very well. I love the Clear Rescue Tape. I ran out of the clear & it was out of stock on Amazon so I ordered the white Rescue Tape, same manufacturer, same specs. I am very disappointed in the white tape though. Everything on the package reads the same so I thought it would be identical to the clear Rescue Tape. It was not. The white version broke on me easily as I stretched it & it also did not adhere to itself well at all like the clear version. I will never order any color of Rescue Tape from here on out, only the clear tape!

This stuff is amazing. When a hot water engine hose springs a leak, wrap in this tape, while it is wet and hot or cold and dry. The tape will seal it off.

Great for stopping drain leaks! Fast shipping. Would buy it again.

Fixed some hoses on my grandma's car and worked like a charm on her very old car

Decent adhesion to itself, but not what I would call a true fusion tape. Will not stick to anything else (only itself).
