This is a really nice product. You can wear it either as a scarf to keep your neck warm or in the traditional Arab kufiya style to stay warm, keep the sun off, keep dust out, etc.I have only had it for a few weeks, but it seems well made and I think it will last as long as it's taken care of properly.Promised shipping time is anywhere from a week to a month, presumably based on potential customs delays, but for me, it arrived about 7-10 days after it shipped, so it was faster than expected.If I need another or a different color, I would definitely buy from Hirbawi.

Appears to be the real deal, with a tag in Arabic characters. Definitely all-cotton, with the pattern woven in. I expect there are better grades: the fabric this one is made of is almost like a mesh. Has some kind of sizing in the fabric that has a pretty potent stink when new, but a couple of cold-water hand washes with Woolite takes care of that. Have not measured it, but the 47"x47" claim seems about right.

Well made and authentic
Um, its a scarf. It keeps my neck warm, it looks cool. It's soft. Most of the other Kufiya on Amazon are made in China. Good globalization lets us support local businesses in developing countries, bad globalization just moves everything to the cheapest and most exploited labor pool. Don't do it...get this one. Ships directly from Israel.

Not Just For The Desert
I love this product. I saw how useful these were during my tours with Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990, so I got this and several others to use during camping and other outdoor activities back home. This specific one is vary large and well made and should stand up well.
