Perfect for range boxes and portable tool kits
I used to carry an adjustable inch pound torque wrench in my traveling kit. It was great but large and heavy as part of an effort to reduce the amount of stuff I carried, I decided to replace it with a much smaller set of Fix It Stick torque limiters. I really only needed four torque settings for my application. I've been very pleased with the Fix It Sticks stuff and it fits into a tiny box. Well worth the money for a field toolkit.

POS X2
I do a LOT of scope mounting and switching between my 40 rifles. I have both the Wheeler FAT STIX set and the Wheeler digital torque screwdriver. I got tired of constantly changing the digital settings and thought I'd get a 20 in/lb unit. The Wheeler STIXs work great. Nice audible and tactile results when you hit the torque setting. They are also inexpensive, but I haven't been able to find a 20 in/lb Wheeler unit for 2 years! This 'fix it stick' device does NOT work. You would have to have K9 hearing to hear the click, and there is NO tactile feedback. I'm returning this one. We will see how it's replacement works.Update: I got the replacement today and it is EXACTLY the same as the original. I'm sending them both back. Considering they are 2.5X the price of Wheeler Fat Stix, I'm done with this brand. In case you wonder, I was trained to use torque tools on nuclear weapons while in the US Navy.

They don't last forever
I've owned mine for about 2 years now in a professional setting before it gave up. I bought it to limit torque when screwing machine screws together with a new M12 brushless drill that has a worthless electronic clutch. The faster it spins, the less likely it is to stop torque at the desired output for me, so I bought the brushed M12 drill that has a mechanical clutch but continued to use this as a secondary torque limiter & bit holder. For my use, I should have just bought the $40 drill instead of this.
